^ I guess the quote: "you learn something new everyday", really is true. I had no idea that was their excuse for getting rid of the stamps.
Whoever's idea it was to switch to smaller cups isn't that smart, they are probably wasting more money by giving people 3 small cups, rather than 1 8.5 or 12 oz cup.

I think their idea of switching to iceless shot glasses was so that people would cave and buy an iced drink on a hot summer day. Therefore, in theory, it was a shady way to increase drink sales.
What they're not thinking about though is the customer experience. When I feel the park is against me, I happily take my business out of the park for food and drinks, where it's appreciated.
In the long run, a business that treats its customers well will be the most viable...

Pretty much every meaningful issue I've discussed on these boards, I've emailed Cedar Point directly comments / suggestions about.
Then perhaps you should develop a new strategy, since emailing the park once or twice and complaining here for a year isn't getting the job done.
And you should know better than most that a grievance aired here is very unlikely (at best) to find its way to CP's "stuff we must deal with" pile.

That couldn't be further from the truth. These very discussions are the reason I've had many discussions with the current foods director. He's listening, and I suspect doing the best he can with dad looking over his shoulder from his new castle.

Wait a minute. I thought we were a handful of disgruntled enthusiasts that nobody paid attention to. Which is it? ;)
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
Only when it comes to discussions on ERT. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try skywriting "BRING BACK THE LARGE ICE WATER CUPS" over Cedar Point. ;)
If that doesn't work, I'll try an interpretive tap dance at guest services.

Well then, I suppose all the whining isn't for naught. Thank goodness. :)

We were there yesterday. I saw a lot of folks walking around with the small "curtesy" cups. Seemed like there were more than I normally see but maybe I just pay more attention now that I have seen the issue raised on this board. Two people asked for larger cups of water and were given them. I suspect that will vary by employee that you ask.
I saw more empty games than I can ever remember yesterday. Often saw 3, 4 or 5 games next to each other with no players at any of them.
