Wow, behind this pissing match, there's a new roller coaster about to open. Sit here and fight all you want - I'll see you on the midway when you're all done.

Speaking of pissing matches. Where did that term come from? I'm not sure I've actually witnessed a real life "pissing match".

From Urban dictionary .com

". pissing match 16 up, 1 down

An argument or contest of wills, often mean-spirited and over trivial or insignificant matters. From the alcohol-induced sport of urinating for distance.

A: "What's with the boss?"

B: "Oh, he got into a pissing match with the head of accounting over last month's travel budget."

A: "So why is he still irritated?"

B: "He lost."

"

Unfortunately Wikipedia is lacking on the subject matter

I have plenty of evidence. Jeff himself said the revised track DESIGN was signed-off on the week before the park opened. That in itself implies there was a revised design already complete to sign off on.

And which part of that implies it took more than a day to design?

Anyone see the irony when people keep shouting "who cares?" and yet post pages upon pages about every little thing that happens on a Web cam all winter? Don't piss in my Cheerios, in my house. I'm having fun.

Does anyone know how many pieces of track were installed today?

A number greater than one but less than 4 I'd imagine as the web cam is showing a gap.

I don't really care as long as I'm riding Maverick June 11 or 12th. Also, as my Casting and Forming Professor (who has experience in the field, and if anyone really cares I can probably figure out how long it will take) said, "The faster you need something done, the more it will cost you, if you need it now, you'll get it and you will definitely be sore shortly after"

Here's the thing, it doesn't cost CP a thing (except bad PR). Intamin is footing the bill for this entirely and was probably given a timeline of yesterday for getting it done.

So Intamin may be sore, but CP will definitely have the rosy afterglow.

Just to clear things up about Extreme Makeover:Home Edition, the house IS constructed in 7 days. While they may have pre-fabbed walls, it's not like it's a modular.

The first day is demo and the last is the reveal. Total of 7 days.

We had one done here in Boardman.

And the design is done before hand. And the pre-fabbed walls only really work depending on how much they are demoing. If they are leaving most of the structure intact, its hard to pre-fab the walls.

Sure, they have the plans for the new house ready to go before hand, but still, to demo and physically build a house in 7 days is pretty amazing. Let alone the fact that that includes landscaping, furniture and decorating.

It was a total demo here in Boardman.

^^ - yes, but when you get 1000 people to help out on demo, it can be done in one day. Just a bunch of human trains passing buckets of debris to be dumped.

I wanted to give a "thumbs up" to Rippin on this information, he was correct in his statement saying that construction would begin Monday or Tuesday. I believe everyone overlooked the fact that he DID call this one right!! Way to go!!
