Anyone else have any new ideas or visual representations? I think it's cool to see the different takes on the new project. How about something a little different like...

haha. That'd be cool but I doubt it would ever happen

I decided not to quote Ensign Smith, I'll be different on here. Of course Dragster is down, but I betcha it will be back up and running tomorrow, plus the way the weather is right now as we speak, I'm sure every ride is down. Anyway though, is Walt taking any more Aeriel shots of Project 2007? I'd make a little drawing of the layout myself if I had an aeriel shot picture like you guys.

They are up on the Project 2007 page. They are alittle dated though.

I just want to say, if no one else will, that I think that those clustered and straight set of footers closest to the path will be the STATION, not the lift hill, and the train will leave the station, go through the little turn to the LEFT and into the hill facing the water (basically backwards from what some people have said or drawn).

Looking at MF's station shows an almost uncanny resembalence(sp) to the order of station track and supports.

I agree whole heartedly with that Grovite. The direction of travel from the station is still a mystery to me. Here's a picture of all the supports and footers underneath MF's station.

How about being launched that way and going directly into an overbanked turn to the left rather than up a steep hill?

Seems like a pretty short turn to go into from a launch.

Grovite,

Since you won't have the gravity from a big hill it has to be short to keep up the speed.

Just a thought.

Right, unless it's going to be long, which would inevitably make it need to go faster.

Maybe it's just me but I think if this is going to be anything reasonable it's going to have to go faster than would be allowable through that little turn, unless maybe it was the end of the ride and it's turning back into the brake run.

That's a neat idea with the double-helix. It reminds me of Raptor's the way it swoops into it... as opposed to Mine Ride's where it kind of casually drops into the helix.

Anybody think the ride will venture over into Mean Streak's real estate? I honestly don't think it will, but it'd be cool. The most intertwining I can think of at CP is Iron Dragon and Mantis - I think maybe one support of Mantis' is just north of ID track.

ANYway... I might make time to Photoshop (actually using Fireworks 8) P2007 going into MS. Anyone else wanna give it a try too?

I like the images that have been posted so far - keep em coming :)

Ok, well after my last post I didn't think that it would look very cool to have P2007 weave in and out of MS, BUT once I PSed it, I think it could be pretty cool!

Grovite,

Unless there will be a second launch in the middle of the ride as some have speculated.

I, for one, do not believe this will be a launch coaster. I think CP has had enough of those.

PS: Maintenance is not cheap, ya know?
