(Doesn't look like there's not enough room to my eyes.)
So, by saying this, are you insinuating that there's plenty of room? Possibly too much room?
Do you don't not dislike not Loopy? ;)

Hey Mark, how about a, uhh...Storm Runner train doing a triple-toe to a tuck spin? ;)
Actually, I was thinking more like that last extremely banked turn/hill element at the end of Storm Runner going over part of the midway in Frontier Town.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

This was mine from a couple weeks ago, but with all the additional footer work they have done since then it will need major revisions if we get new aerials.http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j264/tinpenny1/?action=view¤t=cp_2007_new3.jpg
I think that's a very good mock-up, and if that's anything close to what the actual coaster will look like, then it's safe to assume that it will not break any records as far as height, length, speed, or inversions go. That would leave me to believe that they are just going for something different(whole new direction) with this coaster. That means it would have to be something more unique like an aqua trax, wing walker, or ball coaster. Not that nothing like this hasn't been stated before, but I'm just trying to put 2 and 2 together.
What about a corkscrew through a corkscrew?

^^ That's the best one I've seen thus far. It looks great! Very nice job making that. If it does end up looking similar to that, there's an aweful lot of empty space in the middle there.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Yea that's what i thought too, but knowing Cedar Point they're not going to waste any space, so i'm confident that it will fill out!!!
There is nothing quite like becoming a human windshield on Millennium Force
They could build a small childrens ride and a couple of food stalls, it doesn't have to be filled in with the coaster.

Yea, I agree with you on that, as much as i wouldn't like to see it, that could very well be a possibility.

Just curious, but has anyone put together anymore ideas to the footers from the last aerial shots?
Also Walt, are you planning a recent plane ride soon?

He takes a lot of other pictures of the site and staging area and when he gets around to it I'm sure he will take more from the air.

MrInkSpot,
I'm new at these threads and the lingo- even though I'm a huge CP fan. But one of the beams looks just like the kind that holds the track in place of the Wicked Twister. I just happened to look at some of the construction photos yesterday and saw them hook the track on a V-looking beam. That same kind of beam is the one that's laying on the grass in front of the breakers. Could it be a launch coaster that launches straight in the air- like the Wicked Twister, but goes over a hill & then coast the rest of the track? The launch of the Wicked Twister doesn't take up any room. Maybe you can try to come up with an idea on 3D for that one? Just a thought. :-)

I think I read you... So you'd like to know if I could draw up a coaster that launches vertically? Like Dragster, but LIMs on the way up a top-hat?
Sorry if I read that wrong :-/

MrInkSpot,
That would be cool. Would it make it all the way up, say, a 470-foot hill or 500- foot hill? Just curious.

It will in a drawing :) I'll see if I can find time to do a vertical LIM launch sometime soon.

Thank you for trying! And that was a cool picture you put on there!
I just hope it's over 250 feet, whatever it is. And I hope it's a long roller coaster like Millennium & Magnum.

That pic is so very awesome. Good idea Little Leslie, I had never thought of a vertical launch. Inkspot do your graphic magic and see what you can do.
