Photoshops / Mock-ups

I don't think it'll even have one launch, but no one really knows anything at this point.

As soon as Walt posts some new aerial photos, I can do a simulation ride with my coaster simulation game and post the video on here. Though Im not trying to hurry you here Walt, take your time.:)

i'm still trying to figure what intamin roller coaster that is...is it a Superman:ROS? or did u somehow paint over the Millenium Force track? lol

I like the touch up of the front of the car...does it say Maverick?

Although this is really funny, some people have a little too much time on their hands!!! lol ;)

There is nothing quite like becoming a human windshield on Millennium Force

That would be pretty neat though if the new coaster went through Mean Streak like that. It might make Mean Streak more thrilling to ride because of the feeling of "OH NO", we're going to hit, feeling. Phantoms Revnege and Thunderbolt go through each other really well, and Cedar Point could be going that route, but in my opinion I'd like to see the Track of Project 2007 go above the CP&LE railroad a little, kind of the way Millennium Force two airhills go above it.

What program do yoiu guys use to do mock-ups.. ?

Does it ship with new computers or do you have to buy it ??

I use Photoshop. So no and no.

Mr. Linkspot, your links don't seem to be working anymore. I think that it would be cool if the ride had a lift hill and then lim's midway through to speed it back up. However, that would create a problem if the lims died right before a train came by (train would valley). The new ride's support and track systems look very similar to Millennium Force's:

Whatever it turns out to be, I'm sure it will be good.

Walt,

Any idea on when you might be going back up to get some new aerials of the staging area and project site ? No rush just curious :)

when he feels like going into a plane (wink)

I am personnally suprised no one else has spotted this. Look at the farthest pieces of supports in the staging area....

and look at the last two pieces of top supports from Top Thrill Dragsters launch track, just before the Hydraulic room. I have a photo from last year but i can't scan it. Tell me what you think......

It'll be launched...at least once.

ok, I'll bite.

I don't think it'll be launched. Not even once.

Launching will probably not be involved due to how much space there is. (Doesn't look like there's not enough room to my eyes.)

Sorry for the delayed response guys - I took the weekend off from everything :-D

Anywho, I use Photoshop CS-8 and Fireworks 8 to "PS" things. I prefer FW, but there are occasions when PS's filters can't be beat. All the images I have posted in this thread are Fireworks.

All the links appear to be working from my end... hmmm... It's probably that this thread has been viewed 6000 times in like a week and a half so there's probably been 3 or 4 thousand clicks to the images - sorry if they go down again :(

Baseball Coaster Freak - Yeah, I used one of the ROS images from rcdb... I flipped it, turned, tweaked it, and sized it... and named it Maverick :) Good eye BTW.

Shawn Meyer - You know I hadn't thought of it's effect on MS. That WOULD make MS a lot more fun to ride if you saw an intamin fly through at 80MPH, do an overbanked turn and then fly by again... fun, fun :)

And to whomever mentioned that some of us have too much time on our hands, you're probably right, lol. But as for me, I'm really blessed. I found someone willing to pay me for my hobby, graphic design. So any mock-ups and PSs I do are just practice for my job :)

Seacrest out,

Well Inkspot, some of us do appreciate the graphics that you have posted. Keep them coming and let our imagination run wild until August gets here.

Thanks Rippin, that's nice to hear :)

Well, I've posted a few of my own ideas, but how about we do something new. I like challenges so, I'd like to photoshop YOUR ideas.

If you have a cool idea that you'd like to see mocked-up (that hasn't already been photoshopped), post it here and I'll see what I can do.

<disclaimer> I'm not going to invest 10 hrs per image, so I may have to turn some requests down if I estimate they'll take too long, but there's no harm in asking :)

Hooray for CedarPoint
