T & T posted the latest news on the webcam.

I wonder if the webcam will always be that clear?

Eh....I dont like that view. They did say they're going to move it up so maybe it'll offer a better view.

The clarity is great. Now, all we have to do is install a series of discreet mirrors...

New post on the blog. Skyhawk has flown. In fact, the last picture they show is just amazing with the one arm disappearing into the darkness behind the ride.

Oh, and apparently it IS possible for the arms to swing independently of each other without the ride falling down.

That thing looks gorgeous at night! I really can't wait to see the new lighting package in FT.

Is it me, or did May suddenly get much farther away?

You have that right DjDaemon. Skyhawk, and MaXair are two rides this season I definately have to take pictures of because they both look really good at night. It seems like to me that both Skyhawk and MaXair just have that right amount of brightness to them.

Has anybody seen the four new pictures posted of Skyhawk on Cedar Points website?

Except that hasn't updated since March, when they took down the cam.

I apologize if this question has already been answered but why is the sign atop Skyhawk only on one side? The other side of the ride has no sign.

Westside, to answer your question.....Tony and Tyler said the reason is because the other side of skyhawk is not visible from the midway. (Sounds cheap to me, but that was their answer)

Who would see it from the other side? People looking back from Paddlewheel Excursions?

I can imagine during the summer the only people that will see the other side will be the people waiting in the queues. The people riding the Cedar Creek Mine Ride or the Train might notice.

Heh, I thought the sign would have chaser lights on it, like a movie theater "What's Showing" board.
