I thought maXair's sign would have looked awesome if they followed what Knott's did with Xcelerator.

Wow, that looks cool!! Xcelerator sure is awsome looking at night. CP really should have done that with maXair's sign.

Chaser Lights would be cool, but It might be hard making them look good.
I think skyhawk will just be normally lit, but the Midway in that area will look really good.
I'm can't wait to riding this.

That fits Xcelerators theme. It's like a sign from a 50's diner. That would look tacky in Frontier Town. imo

I have a couple of questions that may have already been asked but why did they decide to put Skyhawk in Frontier Town? This is strictly my own opinion, but it sticks out like a sore thumb. Here you have all these wooden rides like Mine Ride and Snake River Falls. The only other rides with color are Antique Cars and the Swings but the colors are muted to look old fashioned. Skyhawk seems so loud and out of place. My other question is how was the location of the ride picked? It seems really croweded in where it's at. Wouldn't have made more sense to remove Demon Drop (and I'm using that as an example since it's for sale) and put Skyhawk there at the front of the park where it would get maximum exposure and riders?
^Regarding the colors, some believe that, over the next couple of seasons, Frontiertown will be rethemed to more of an Americana feeling from the early 1900s.

The location was chosen as a means to increase traffic in that area of the park. As DBCP mentioned, FT is likely going to receive a lot of attention over the next few seasons, making it a destination within the park.
As for the actual location of the ride within FT, it is actually a very good spot. That little area was a "dead" zone before. The ride is a perfect fit, even though its pretty snug. As for moving Demon Drop, the point of the FT renovation (if it could be called that) is to increase interest and traffic in that area of the park.

If they put another Midway Market in DD spot, that'd be cool ;)

Well they have another restuarant in Frontiertown that can be just as expensive as Midway Market. Don't get me wrong everytime I go, I love to eat their food, but sometimes it gets expensive.
I have yet to have a good experience with Midway Market. We've tried it a couple times hoping that the next will have been worth it, and I can't say I'd recommend it to someone I hate, much less a friend.

I've always enjoyed it.

I always liked the idea of an all you can eat buffet IN the park. Yeah it costs more than going out to Ponderosa or something like that, but of course considering that it is INSIDE the park it is really not that expensive.
And the food is not all that bad, I have had worse both in a park and out. And some days it is better than others, but mostly it has been OK.
Just my 2 opals (Any one know what I am referring to *hint take a look at my sig*)

Not when you consider that they would be within a 2 minute walk of each other and thus likely just compete with each other.
As for Midway Market overall, it seems to depend on when you go. If you visit on busy days, the quality tends to be less than on the days when the park is not as busy. The reason is that they always seem to under-estimate their popularity, and thus, on busy days, they are pushing the food out faster than they would otherwise, and cleaning tables and what not becomes less important to them.

$15.95 for adults and I think $10.95 for kids. Lunch is about $12.95 and $8.95 respectfully.

Midway Market = <3
It is expensive, but considering that at PKI it costs like $2 for a slice of pizza it's not that bad. At the same time it's hard for anything to irritate me when I'm at Cedar Point. I prefer to enjoy everything there and get the most I can out of it.
Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
