Well, thay had to turn the camera off. Didn't you know that they're hiding the track for the new uber-coaster in the woods behind skyhawk. ;) j/k

Man, I also remember that big circle of condensation.
I almost threw my keyboard through the screen every day it was on.

For anyone interested, they've picked a winner for the Skyhawk media day contest, and it isn't me. :(

oh well you always have the rest of the season to ride it. . big deal being the first or not. . skyhawk is probably my fourth or fifth priority anyways.

I was actually just as interested in getting closer to Area 52 as I was riding Skyhawk early. Plus, getting to see the park before opening day would have been an amazing experience.

I dunno - I thought they woulda done it early this morning, but I guess not.

You can go to the contests page, then to the winners page to check the results.

Because if they post about the drawing results, people will think they are covering up Skyhawk testing. Its all a big conspiracy.

It would've been me that was choosen but I never bothered to put my name in the contest...lol.

This webcam being down is the best thing to happen to Pointbuzz during April. It completly eliminates the OMG I saw the ride test threads. By the end of the offseason, there always tend to be annoying, already discussed topics; but we have not seen to many of those. Either Walt and Jeff are doing a good job, or I'm jumping the gun and saying this with 28 days still to go. :)

Well there was a "Magnum is Sinking" thread for about 5 minutes, but walt was all over it. ;)

I know the webcam is still down, but damn I want to see more pictures or something. That's something I always check! I'm getting very anxious and want to see whats happening.

I imagine it will start testing later this week... But who knows. As of this weekend the seats were still vaccum sealed for freshness...

I think it will start testing in a few weeks. I would think that with less then a month till opening day, they would have the ride system ready to go.
