What about a “brewery themed” restaurant? It wouldn’t necessarily be a place that would brew beer, but it could look like it did. And I think a brewery would fit into the theme of things in Frontier Town. I have said before that the land is to big for just a coaster, or even a coaster and a ride. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see a new sit down restaurant, especially since there isn’t one back there.

They dont sell enough alcohol at CP. Itd be nice to have another place just to grab a few drinks and chill out for a bit. Or take on the go...perfec on those hot july days

They keep the alcohol in the restaurants for a reason. There are many people who have a drink or two and are okay, but you then have the people who will get wasted and that's where conflicts start. *** Edited 3/30/2006 3:43:08 AM UTC by Gomez***

I know...and certainly things "could" happen....but they could happen now. Im not saying I want a beer tent...the latest convo just had me thinking of how it would be nice to have another nice "establishment". They could do a heck of a lot better than stadium-type beer glasses at a few random places...and make it nice.

I know exactly what you mean Gomez. I've seen quite a few conflicts with drunk people.

When I was at entrance in 2004, I always made it a point to encourage people with nearly full beers to chug them and get in line rather than having that throw them away or gingerly sip them away. I think it reminded many of them of their days back in college. :)

On the subject of beer:

Seeing IOA sell beer in their lines is AWESOME. I had two in line of Jurrasic Park once.

I remember a few years back the park stopped selling beer during Physics Day because kids had fake IDs and were buying beer.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

Frankly, I think they sell more than enough alcohol. I think the way they have the alcohol rules implemented now, is done well. The last thing I want to do is to be riding rides with a whole bunch of drunk people. Besides, they're not in the business of selling alcohol, they're in the business of "selling" world-class rides! ;)

Or being drunk and in 90 degree heat. DBCP said it best.

It's very difficult to get "drunk" at CP when beers are $6.00+ EACH. One would be broke before they got buzzed at that price.

But yet, people do it. More often then you would think to.

I (165 lbs.) typically have 3 beers throughout the day at CP. (and my 100 lb. wife does too). Neither of us have ever been drunk at CP...or close. Im not talking about having a frat party here.
