News: Cedar Point blog shows footers at WWL site

It appears as though they make it a point (sorry :)) to post every Friday.

They don't post every friday.

It's sort of payback for playing a joke on his dad (my grandpa) in which he placed a sign by the pond, that's next to my grandpas house, that read "Fishing and Hunting is prohibited"(which my grandpa believed for a while).^_^

Since the beginning of the calendar year, they have posted all but 3 Fridays. Thats 10 out of the last 13 Fridays.

You know, I'm starting to think that we may hear an announcement earlier in the year than normally expected. Maybe July or so. Whether it's one big ride or the whole area is being re-developed, it's pretty obvious with the little we've seen that this is a huge project. It is going to generate a good bit of interest when people see the size of the area that is involved. Even the GP will notice the size of the build and may just be interested enough to check out the website for updates. BTW, has anyone with local ties to Sandusky heard anything about building permits, variances, or approvals?

Skyhawk press won't extend beyond opening day, its just not that exciting.....and whats the best thing to attract attention, a new coaster, maybe the tallest fastest Flyer, that'll attract more press than, canada trying to annex montana.

Okay I have read this thread and read all the "clues" from Tony and Tyler....And came up with my own theroy. Here it goes:

The "bear-ly" idea....Might be that they are going to build something that goes back to yesteryear like with the skyhawk.

Has CP always 'played up' to the public interest as much as is being done with what we think may be called Maverick? Just wondering if all of this specualtion is always typical, or is this out of the ordinary (and in that case maybe indicative of the size of the intended project)?

For a blog that hasn't even been around a year, who knows what qualifies as typical?
The blog has two purposes, one provide information and behind the scenes looks. Two: Fan the flames of Fanboydom.

Or, as a poll of short bus riders labeled the last post, "T&T should get their own bus for that one."

I hate the teasing, but I hope when they do announce the new ride that they explain all of their teases.
