I sure hope they're testing rides when I go to the Season Pass Center April 19th.(off topic I know):)

I just know that I am going to be "swinging" in the 2006 year with a smile on my face and let the Skyhawk be the shining star this year!! We can't forget about that can we?
I just picked yours Matt but I have read several comments regarding Tearing down DT..Why? I happen to like DT. Its one of the more original rides at Cedar Point. I am one who doesn't like the big fast tall rides...IMO they could tear down TTD and I would not have a problem with that. I just think you all need to think of the Entire Cedar Point Guests!
Well, I'm trying to redo some areas in Cedar Point and I am thinking of the GP too...

See...
WWL's old queue could easily become a Kiddy Flat Ride... I guess... Or a duck pond... And because that old path would still 'hopefully' be there it would be even better! And there's a resturant and a Photo Booth and a Huss Top Spin and lots of trees and a Coaster... Omg.

^Nice creativity on that. :)
I doubt a top spin will be added though.

Why? I've ridden the mondial TopSpin at PCW and it kicks major butt! Hmm, I can probably figure it out for myself...
Hey, what do you think about my DT area plan? It's not totally done yet...

Oh yeah,
G= Games
Ri= Ride
R= Food/Resturant
Oh, and the broken up lines means it may or may not be there... depending on what I think up...

No one has mentioned the possibility that this could be a Tilt coaster....
which would be something unique to this region... and would fit CP brilliantly.

Hopefully green patches with scribbles titleling them "trees" are also found on the plans for "Project 2007" Frointertown would look a little off having a giant bald spot with an attraction on it.

Nice, though I doubt they will place the games that far off the main midway :)
What else are they supposed to put there?

I suspect, since they have already begun construction (footers) and the area can clearly be seen from other rides, they will announce it early just because there will be so many curious eyes, enthusiasts among them.I recall Raptor was announced before the end of the season, and if I recall correctly, wasn't Mantis/Banshee an early announcment too?
You forgot one, back in July 1999, Millennium Force was announced. I'm not sure about Mantis. Someone correct me if I"m wrong but I think that was annouced in August of 1993. I doubt that Cedar Point will announce this new ride early. Right now they just want to Tease us.
Don't you mean Raptor was announced in 1993? I doubt Mantis was even on the drawing board then. ;)
If we start seeing track or supports very early this year (not as late as August like with Dragster), I suspect that they would announce it early.
One of the problems with a bunch of ride parts showing up early though, is that they take up parking spaces, and during the peak of the summer that wouldn't be a good thing.

Unless they store them somewhere else. EVC lot, in and around Mean Streak, out along Magnum behind Soak City. There are a few good places they could store parts. They also have that field next to Breakers Express. Plus if need be, they could lease property along First Street.

CP Bound,
Your last point is why I doubt we will see much before August. If they do bring parts in earlier they'll probably be going straight to the site rather than being dumped in the parking lot.

Goodbye MrScott

I'm changing my previous guess. I still think it will be a super flume but I'm going with Grizzly Run or Grizzly River Run (what is the raft ride at G.L. called)?
And, for unprecedented I'm going to say they are going to do some serious theming. Something a few rungs...or an extension ladder...above Disaster Transport.

Well, by looking at the word "unprecedented" the other day, I've narrowed it down to two possible coaster projects:
Dueling B&M Flyers: The word fits, cant be compared to, and never has been done before. I like this possible idea and early rumors have been pointing at B&M to do something. I think the 4D idea is gone just from the presentation of the word......
500 FT: Can it be done? Something the world has never seen before! Well, if you ask me, I'm gonna put some doubt on this idea. Then again, who saw TTD coming quickly after MF? Another question would be, which company would do the 500 footer? I think this idea has too many questions, but, it's CP, they have surprised us in the past......
Those are my two 2007 project pics. They are two ideas that have never been done before and cannot be compared (unprecedented). I think the word "unprecedented" set ideas off in my head ;)
I think by unprecidented they mean that there will be multiple rides installed in 2007.
