Snake River Falls was supposed to have a mountain under the structure. That would have looked cool if it had happened.
It would be cool to make one like Paul bunyans log chute at mall of america, or mabie something like splash mountian.
There are just a couple coasters that I would want to actually be drunk on if I ever did have that opportunity to. And that would be Mean Streak and Mantis! Mantis pulls my leg muscles a little and Mean Streak has that nice amount of roughness to it. In reality though I'd Rather save my drinking for the bar that I live right down the street from and just go to Cedar Point and have the best damn day that I can.
I dont know how the mention of a microbrewery or a nice establishment built in CP led to a discussion about being drunk. I guess its just a matter of opinion, but as an adult, and one who knows how and likes to enjoy a few drinks....especially when Im on a vacation, I think CP could use a nice place to go inside where you can get a few drinks...(i said drinks, not beer) and relax.
Now after a day at CP...yeah...we head back to our hotel room, crack open our bottle of wine and take in the day.
The only half-decent place at CP right now is Lusty Lills....which, having been pulled on stage there 4 separate times growing up, I have fond memories of, and it fits the fronteir theme great, so no complaints. But another option would be nice as well.
Alcohol is just like every other product offered at the point, its not an incentive, but rather a bonus. I go to CP for the rides and attractions, and for liquor and beer, I go to a Friday night party.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.
Well unfortunately my days of Friday night parties are long gone. I go to CP for the same reasons you do, SE. At this point in my life, I expect more bonuses.

What are the chances of them building a midway that acts as a loop into the back of frontiertown?
Considering the placement of some of the footers, I find it unlikely that this will happen.

Remember a midway can wind in and around footers, under a coaster. That’s a large piece of land to not be able to find some sort of path for a midway.
This is completely off topic, but I love the quote in your signature, 99er. Mitch Hedberg was my favorite comedian.
He is indeed the best comic I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. To bad he’s no longer with us……
It would appear the T's are getting a little talking to from Mr. Hildebrandt about some pictures they've taken recently.
Doubt its anything serious as anything put on the site would have to be cleared first anyway. Just funny the way they put it.

They should have just flown over the park and taken the photos;)

You should not be drinking at all Mr. Minor. ;)
It has to be something big because last time I checked, a pile of dirt wasn't that important or exiting. Lets hope its for that flyer where getting. :)!!!!!:)
It's all just a big tease. They won't announce anything until well into the season. Right now, they want as much attention as possible placed solely on Skyhawk. There will be plenty of time later in the season for an announcement of what (if anything) is coming in 2007.

Oh please... the way their post today is makes it sounds as though they are in grade school and did something they weren't supposed to, and now they are going to get a stern talking do by the principal. No construction photos would ever make it onto that blog without prior knowledge from the higher ups.
It's probably just a ploy so they won't have to post any more construction photos before the park opens this season.
Oh, and naturally they post this on a Friday to leave people hanging.

Wow, nothing gets by you guys.
I think there might be an even simpler explanation.
Let's just wait and see what develops. This could get interesting. That today happens to be a Friday may actually be an annoying complication...
