Hmm.....being drunk and going on a roller coaster doesn't sound like a good idea to me. ;)
There is a differnce riding a roller coaster drunk vs. buzzed. I've done, all the big coasters buzzed minus twister, raptor, and Mantis. I know from my lurking days I'm not the only one too!
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

It's very difficult to get "drunk" at CP when beers are $6.00+ EACH. One would be broke before they got buzzed at that price.
MrScott
Not if you're a cheap drunk like me!

That is why a well placed cooler at the cabin is essential.

They should have theme keep the drinks in certan parts of the park like the restaurents. I don't think there are alot of coaster drunks, but all of those college kids can cause a muck.
I have never noticed an alcohol problem at Cedar Point. There is no need to restrict drinks to one area or make people keep them inside the restaurant.

A well placed flask in the glove box helps too. :)

Actually, they are *suppose* to be kept on the front porch of where they are purchased, but, sadly, no one ever does that, and it's somewhat of a difficult rule to enforce.

^No, the point of my comment was that people (alright, the average person ;) ) doesn't come to Cedar Point to buy alcohol, they come for the rides, shows, and the fun.

What are the chances of them building a midway that acts as a loop into the back of frontiertown?
like this...

There would still be plenty of room for atleast two Flat Rides and a Roller Coaster... Especially if they get rid of that ugly building with the Red X over it... Because that whole area back there looks really bad!
Whats that building for anyway?

I have thought a midway like that seems likely. Especially if they close off the small midway on the backside of the Antique Cars. If it were done, I think the midway would go more through the middle of the land and less towards the road. The midway that leads to the Frontier Train Station wouldn’t be a dead end anymore.
That building is Undertaker University, which if removed or moved, I wouldn’t be surprised. That would make a good entrance plaza for the new ride. It’s a good sized building to let just sit there with a new ride behind it, its also to boring to let stay. I even had a thought of it being turned into a restaurant, or some sort of eating establishment if it stayed.
I still say super size me with a super flume and call it Big Bear Falls or Big Bear Run. Make it the largest flume ride in the world. Not necessarily with the tallest drop, though that wouldn't be bad. I'm not sure how high the tallest flume drop is.
But, build a nice mountain (which might take more than one season to do) and really do it right. Add some backward fluming, dips, etc and have fun with it.
