vertical construction

This afternoon in coasterbuzz.com forums, a post was made that verticle construction had begun. Can anyone who has visited the point recently corroborate this statement?

Here is the post: http://www.coasterbuzz.com/forums/thread.asp?ForumID=11&TopicID=25311

"Hey everyone, i usually don't post on here as i'm not uch of a rumor person at all, but i thought i would share this little tidbit of info that a lot of you might enjoy to hear about. We are going verticle. that's right, Area 51 actiucaly has verticle movement. As of around 1pm on tuesday, supports have started to go up. two sections of two supports, and two sections of one support high were up at my last sight, and that was yesterday afternoon. i haven't seen anything yet today, but i'm sure it's moving along still. just thought you would all like to know about this."(posted on coasterbuzz.com)

The problem is that no one that can talk will until Saturday. Remember that the park is only open weekends now.

Sorry about the spelling, it was a grammatical error. I was an engineering major, and not an English major. Still, I know it is not and excuse. However if Magnum Force gets pleasure out of correcting grammar and labeling posters so be it. It is my first post at GTTP, and I get attacked.

A freind of mine that works at CP told me about that last night. I was pretty sure that it was happening bacuase everthing else he's told me has turned out to be true. I guess this proves it beyond a reasonable doubt for me. As always I need to see it with my own two eyes to be certain though. [or at least see enough credible pictures]

Does anyone have any pictures of this?

I think these last two posts are ironic. It's not the off-season yet, so it is possible that there may be accounts from people that have been on site. Then someone wants pictures of the constuction which is exactly what we hear all off-season long...

No one is going to have pictures until Saturday afternoon, or some reliable goes to the park and on Saturday and calls someone to post what they see.

I just got confirmation from a friend of mine that is working all week at Friday's by Breakers for the IAAPA convention that vertical construction has in fact begun. There are only supports up as of now. While Area 51 is a restricted area while the park is closed, I have wandered around there. When I was approached by a cop asking where I was headed, I said, "Oh I just had to stop by my ride to see when I work tomorrow. I'm heading back to my car now." :)

Has that ever happened, Dan??? :)

Anywho, I'm sure someone that lives close, say in Huron, will probably go in Saturday morning, get pics, and upload them onto his website, just like last week. ;)

Hard to tell.

I think it is real. The footers that have been around since May were in a 3 pattern like that. That would be the only ones they could use right now.

EDIT: I ran it though some tests. Looks to be real. If you zoom in enough, you can see some yellow behind the trees (at the tree line). Thats something that isn't faked.

I won't believe it until i see more pictures. I could easily re-create both of those photos in Photoshop if i wanted to.
