Could very well be, it looks like the bottom half and they are starting on it . MF's first overbank has a similar structure going for it in the middle. Notice how on MF's they start a new cross brace after the top ring on each vertical peice? The only difference is it's cubed instead of triangle.
If it is lets see if they can make this one untouchable ;).

I just happened to be browsing through the pictures when what you said above came to mind. Check this image out. On the leftside of the structure is another anchor point for cross bracing, which is clearly not contained within the triangular strucutre. At some point you should see additional vertical supports going up that will connect to this part of the structure.
