Oh your cool now,Anyways isnt there a new coaster to discuss?

Yeah,I am. Yes,there is a new coaster to discuss, mature adults who know proper english were trying to discuss it when you trolled in.

Is it just me or does anyone else think this is going to be a kind of ugly coaster? I mean, in another forum the tree damage was mentioned, now just look at that tower forming....eewwww I think its ugly. =o/

It's all in Twisted Wicker, can't you see?!

Exactly...the tower is just Forming....remember the MF when they were just starting to build it...it didn't look so pretty, Not that its all finished....i think it looks amazing. Just wait till it acctually starts to take some Shape.

Edit- This is just the beginning of what appears to be a HUGE project.

Well I hope you are right! I'd hate to see Cedar Point install something thats going to be an eyesore to their skyline. Somehow, I don't understand how red is going to be easily visible from the causeway (if they even care), Millennium Forces red train is hard to see from the causeway, and thats right up in your face. I hope this track doesn't fade to be come a Magnum-red/orangish(really orange) color. That, wouldn't be good... Although I think I like Magnum Orange. =o)

This sure is turning into one massive project. I think the station will be closer to Corkscrew with the que being where troika and chaos were. I also hope the ride mingles with both MF and Iron Dragon. Cedar Point doesn't really have any rides that do that so it would be nice to see that happen.
Wow nice coverage Walt. Thanks.

Sawblade: Ha ha.... Loved that movie

The track with fins is for LIMS! I'm sure of it.

"Sit down right, hold on tight, and enjoy your flight on Shivering Timbers!!"

Funny. Actually I'm pretty sure that the track with fins is for the brake run. Look at pics of Xcelerator and you will see what I mean.

"Meh."

Danger: Hgih Voltage!

The pieces with the fins attached are for the brake run. The magnetic brakes are of the same variety as those found on MF. The only difference is that the fins are now on the track and the magnets on the underside of the trains (reverse setup). This has to be done to accomodate the hardware needed for the launch mechanism. You can see this setup on Xcelerator in the background of this photo:

The thing that I dont like about those brakes is the fact that there is about twice as many sections of the brakes that there was on the xcelerator photos.

At least we can rule out a clone but a short ride seems almost iminent.

This pretty much says theres going to be at least one bunny hop.

"Wheres the Callahan factory?!?!?"

I think that maybe the pull up into the top hat, the joint that is there is made to with stand larger forces. I dont think it will be a bunny hop, it looks to be sitting up side down.

If I'm not mistaken, that photo shows the part that connects to a support in the middle of the convex side...it's appears to just be for a large pull out/up like the rest of the track we've seen.

June 28th: LocoBazooka Tour (Sevendust headlining)
July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy

That piece of track is definitely upside-down. The rails on top would have the usual white stripes otherwise.

unless they want the train to crash into the connector pole....it is upside down.
