vertical construction

I noticed that as well. Also, I though that it would just be triangular, but it doesn't appear to have a connector for the triangle, more of a cubed structure.

you guys notice the big night lights they have inside the construction area?....;)

They appear in a big hurry to build something they haven't even announced yet eh!

I Met Brittney! Shes SOOOOOO Cool!

The higher they build, the more attention it will get from the guests. Maybe CP wants people to think "ouuhhh that looks spiffy, lets spend money and get season passes".. Well, maybe it's not that simple, but I bet it will be interesting to see how guests will react to construction. A cool idea would be to hang a banner with the coaster's name and some stats across the Area 51 support structure ( if it indeed grows tall enough by the announcement) that can be seen from a heavily traveled area of the park. There are many possibilities of "the big hurry", Intamin having many projects for next year or maybe Cedar Point is trying to avoid as much cold winter construction as possible. There is always a method to the madness, so I'm sure Cedar Point has something up their sleeves. Even though that something maybe just common sense.

Anyone else get the error messege "The game disk cannot be read" in the middle of playing gamecube?

Well if this thing really is 400 feet tall, I'm sure buttloads of extra testing will be needed. I wouldn't be suprised if this is the reason why it's being built early-Any problems and they can fix it in time for it to open on the opening day, instead of turning out like x. They don't haev a coaster like it to fall back on for g's, they jsut have to calculate and pray to god.

You guys really need to find something better to do than complain about photos. I mean, really, go out and interact with society.

And why is that? Do the laws of physics and engineering concepts change at that height?

Robert: Spell out words. Don't be an illiterate moron, people won't respect what you have to say.

That dosent even look close to a real photo, just by looking at it in the webpage you can tell it is fake. You can clearly see where the person pasted the structure twice on top of the actual picture, if your going to fake it try to make it look a little good.
Who are you Calling an "Illiterate Moron".Who gives you the Authority to sit there and Call people Illiterate Morons? I want to know so i can get some.

Uh no, but it isn't like they have made one before to go "Oh ok we have to do this. It's just a saftey net, to make sure everything works. You can't just say "Oh it worked on a 300 foot coaster, so it must for a 400 foot one".

What kind of track is in the picture in the second row second column? It's the flat track with the metal fins attached to the whole length of it. Also, some strange new supports in the picture in the third row second column. Wonder what's atached to the bottom of them.
