While I admire TrainCrew's willingness to stick up for one of the people that report to him, I think he does need to work on his People Skills (I capitalize those two words only to show how important they are in life).

Spelling is also an important thing. Especially when you are calling someone stupid. Calling someone "stuiped" is absolutly hilairious!

While I did not work at Cedar Point in 2004, I had a guest experience there that became a legend of its own back at Geauga Lake (where I did work).

Since this is a family friendly website, and because I don't want to be too embarrassed, I'll just use the generic term to describe what happened:

The Sausage Incident!

A couple of days after it happened, Bill Spehn came up to me telling me he got the report about what happened. Basically, a guest tried to accuse me of doing something so ridiculous, that it would have gotten me not only kicked out of the park, but also arrested, had his accusation been true.

Luckily, Bill knew I would never do what the one guest tried to accuse me of, (or at least I believe so, because of the way he brought up the incident), and the whole thing became a huge joke in the rides department at GL.

One thing I like about working for CF, like someone else posted earlier, is that the management sticks up for its employees! Bill Spehn's response to this incident proved that the company cares for its employees, and will stick up for them if a guest tries to accuse them of something, even if it happens at another park in the chain, on his/her day off!

i am a nice guy but when a guest wants to sit there and make my employee cry for doing his or her job. That is where i draw the line, that is why i would go off on a guest.

No, going off on your guests is bad. If it wasn't for them you wouldn't have a job. They can yell and scream all they want just as long as they don't break th law. If yelling makes your employees cry you need to find some tougher skinned people.

um thats where 911 comes in handy, if the guest is screaming and hollaring enough to make a person cry, that person is a security threat, and needs delt with. let security handle it, their the ones with the guns.

I am not an employee of Cedar Point, but I just wanted to share a story my friend experienced.

A crew member checking heights for TTD, stopped this one woman for having a large video camera, and trying to enter the line. They argued for a few minutes, and the crew member kept suggesting that she put the camera in a locker. The woman kept refusing, and got so mad, she uncapped her water, and shook it all out, aiming at the poor crew member. Security was called by the second crew member and the woman was promptly removed. =P How Ignorant.

This is the real train crew 030405 person i have been gone for a few days and i found out my brother has been posting stuff that i tell him about cedar point from season 03 and 04 and it got back to my ride managers and i have no chance to get leadership and or be back in rides for season 05. To who ever said something to my managers thank you. i will have my brother post on here him saying he is sorry to all the guest who he hurt. plus i will make sure he emails my managers that he sorry for saying what he said. i tell by brothers everything about my time at cedar point her wants to work at cp but i tell no he is not going to work thier because i worked thier and he would get like it as much i loved to work thier. to the person who emailed or said something to my managers that they need to talk to me. what they did was wrong thay should have talked to me first.

welp it sounds like someone was gutless. but have u ever thought that maybe some of the managers are members here? *shrugs* just an idea. it may be that one of the silver tags read it and said no no u cant come back. Dont just assume someone emailed them, it might have been your manager themselves that saw it. and besides, the rides department isnt all that fun, parking is better :). chin up, there are tons of other departments to work in. J

Hi this is Train's brother who posted on here about the TC person yelling at my big brother. I would like to say i am sorry for any harm that i might haved caused my brother, guests, or managers of cp. My brother and I are very close and he talks to me about cedar point and I tell him that he is very lucky to have worked at the best amusment park every built. I cant wait to work at cedar point and follow in my big brothers foot steps. This pass summer, I went and visted cedar point and tried to ride dragster and it broke down all the people around me were so mad that it broke down, and said to everyone on platform "this is the only ride i wanted to ride today and it ruin my day". well to me as bening in 6th grade that is wasting money just to ride one ride. since my brother cant be rehired in rides i said sorry to him and i hope his managers would rehire as a team leader or back in rides. if they do not rehire him in rides i will never be able to look at him because i cost him his job in rides at cp.

yeah but if someone runs ya foot over, u can always throw ya radio at them :) that or just send the supervisor after them. I mean the driver has gotta be blind if they cant see those BRIGHT YELLOW OUTFITS!!! sheesh but of course, ive seen dumber in my life. just a few weeks ago, we had an accident out on the interstate, and some woman too busy yacking away on the cell phone, ran plumb long into our fire truck. scared the crap out of all of us, but im like HELLO do u NOT see a big lime green fire truck with a ton of lights? and even after the accident, she was still yackin on the phone.. i mean come on, UR SUPPOSED TO DRIVE NOT TALK!!..lol J

Yeah that could happen. i never will talk on my cellphone while i am driving unless i have it on my charger and my headset on.
