I was watching work on Windseeker at around 2:30 yesterday and they had workers crawling all over the ride working on it, including two workers on lifts drilling holes for the brackets for the new shock absorbers. I highly doubt the ride was even cycled at around 3pm, or at all yesterday, with all the work going on. My bull**** meter is pegged about this so called report of dummies flying out.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
What kind of dummies would they be using? (there were none anywhere near either of the two Windseekers I have seen) Remember that the most common style of water body does not have any legs, and is not only mechanically unsuited to Windseeker's seats, but is also top heavy.
That said, count me among the "highly skeptical" that the falling dummy incident actually happened. As noted, I am not sure they are even using dummies on the ride.

JuggaLotus, you don't understand. We have regular conversation about happenings at the park that most people don't know about, yet.
Not to mention I've been around Kings Island enough to know how the park works via what gets released and what doesn't. You're correct there was no statement provided to the park saying "No, a water dummy did not fall out of WindSeeker today during testing." That'd be a dumb PR move for one. Two, why report on something that didn't happen?
Back to the topic at hand, did any other PB member see a water dummy fall out of WindSeeker and/or have visual proof?
The dummies were still on at KI last weekend.

On site update: I can confirm that all the dampers are on. Theres a lot more going on inside the gondola and theres parts everywhere. They seem to be working on the areas where the drive motors are. All the seats are tied off and they just finished installing and testing the pa system.
I see no chance of full testing for a while still. Whatever they're working on, it's extensive and time consuming.

djcarl, that appears to have been shot on it's first day of operation. It shut back down the next day.
On a side note, I find it disheartening to read in the description that they're basically bragging about openly defying the ride-ops instructions to put away the camera.
