Yeah, but you're part of the crew anyway, I plan on being the first of the GP.:)

I was not on the crue then I did not even work there at that time. I was on maXair for the first ride then i went to Dragster and got on the first train in my second favorite seat and got a good ride on it.

Do you think getting to the park really early will help me in my goal? If so, what else do you think I should do,

Prolly get there very early in the morning by the Magnum entrance and just hope that you can run faster then me...lol, jk.

This will be my first opening day, i'm soo excited!! We are staying at breakers on Friday night. Anybody know how late the season pass center is opened on friday???

Well I am probably going to be there, though not working :( HR says I have to take a MANDATORY 1 year off. Oh well I can understand, they want to make sure you really mean it if you want to come back. It will just be that much harder for me to find the time in 2007 to work there.

Any one want to meet up on opening day! Give me a ring!! I would like to hang out with someone instead of just wondering the park myself.

It is my first Opening day too! I am going up on Friday right after school in hopes of getting my season pass befor it is packed on Saturday. TTD420atCp I belive the season Pass center is open tell 7:00 P.M. on Friday.

I plan on being there very early saturday morning trying to avoid the 2 hour wait I had on opening day 03 for my picture.

I can bring some stuff that we would need for a point buzz party. I can make a large sign, so everyone can find us. I would not miss opening week for the world. I have it off. Prearranged it with work. That along with closing weekend. I hope to see some of you there. It will be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, we need a sign or something with "Pointbuzz Partay" on it. Especially after the MF closing day party last year went so well (sarcasm). I can bring some hot dogs and pop.

Maybe the employees will see our group and let us in early, lol.

OK, I am taking care of a couple large signs. And I will take care of the dessert (cake). I will display the signs in the east picnic pavilion. (If you are facing the main entrance it is the one on the right). I figure it is smaller, and easier to find the area. If I need to get anything else let me know..... God knows that time is on our side. 56 Days.

Edit: I can be there at 7:30A. I am not going to be able to sleep the night before anyways.

Is opening day as crazy busy as I imagine?

How about mid-week after opening, say Tuesday? Walk on rides?

opening day was kinda busy last year. Some wait for all coasters, if I remember correctly. The fireworks tend to draw a crowd. But, it is hard to tell. The weather will be a factor also. The opening week tends to be pretty slow. especially (sp?) during school hours.

Opening day can be packed, but the weekdays in May can be great days to visit.

We need some refreshments now and we need a head count so I know how many hot dogs.

My girlfriend, her son, and I will be there. We will bring some food and we also need to know about how many will be there.

Thanks pepsi. I am going right after school also and I'm going to try to get there before the season pass center closes to advoid the horrid lines I hear they have on opening day.

I will be there, I would offer to bring food, but I am going to be walking and don't want to have to carry to much to CP. And no I do not have all that far to walk to CP, I live on Columbus Ave, right across the street from the jail, so not all that far.

Of course I have to figure out how I am going to get over the causeway since they don't allow pedestrians.

You will have to be in a motor vehicle to cross the Causeway.

I have 5 people in my group that will be going to the party. If you are going to be there at or around 7:30a just type "Head count: (Total #)"

And that is the Total # of people after you have added your group.

So if the next person who posts has 3 people in there group that will be attending than they should type "Head count: 8"

This is most likely going to get pretty large. I can buy alot of supplies in the time that we have. I have already bought some poster board and my wife will help me design some signs tommorow and I will post a pic of them so ya'll know what you are looking for.

My wife makes wedding cakes, so she will design a big Cedar Point cake. And I can also bring other snacks. I.E. chips & Dip.

Now I really cannot wait until the park opens. Only 54 more to go.... woohooo!!!!! Hope to see you guys there.

Yep I know, that is why I said that I don't know how I am going to get across. I don't have a car so I am having to walk to get to work (Ghostly Manor/Skate World on 250) and so forth.
Would anyone like to stop and pick me up, I am on the way I swear :)
