LoL. Well bholcomb I asked a SERIOUS question and was looking for a SERIOUS answer. The thought crossed my mind that you were kidding but then I was like..nah. Anyways...I am VERY glad that you were kidding. And I feel pretty dumb now too. :)
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
Oh, and Powder Keg at Silver Dollar City is NOT a water coaster.
From RCDB.com: The "Powder Keg" is a significant modification and extension of the park's former Buzzsaw Falls water coaster. http://rcdb.com/id1903.htm
Not trying to be argumentative, but I'm now confused as to who is correct: peacetrain or RCDB. Is there anyone who's actually been there that could shed some light on the subject?

Actually, with a water coaster, the designers could have control over how wet riders get, since they can vary the depth of the track in the water. Also, traditional coaster elements can be implemented to provide a more dynamic ride experience compared to other water rides. So, a water coaster is indeed different from SRF.

djDaemon, no argument or offense, but what I said was:
Oh, and Powder Keg at Silver Dollar City is NOT a water coaster. The photos on RCDB are of both rides because the park drained and reworked Buzz Saw Falls, which had mechanical issues.
Yes, I got my info from RCDB:
"The "Powder Keg" is a significant modification and extension of the park's former Buzzsaw Falls water coaster." The key is the word "significant." From ultimaterollercoaster.com:
"During the summer of 2003 the park began looking at options for modifying or replacing the attraction. That winter the park contracted with S&S Power to provide an air-launched coaster for the 2005 season. To cut down on costs it would utilize part of the Buzzsaw Falls coaster track and the lift hill. In addition, Silver Dollar City planned to keep much of the station structure for the new coaster called PowderKeg."
This is the splashdown for Buzz Saw Falls:

And this is the empty "splashdown" on the reworked Powder Keg:

No water, no water coaster. ;D
And apologies to the TTD sensitive out there, I should have put a winkie after number 5. Thanks bholcomb! ;)

I got nothin'.
As I stated before, a new modern flume similar to Splash Mountain should be constructed. Only longer and larger. Part of "the mountain" can be constructed over the CP&LE RR where the locomotives can travel through a tunnel, just like Disney's version. Check it out on this map of the Magic Kingdom on the upper left corner:

You can see the similarities in comparison:

Wow, you're really taking shots at almost everyone lately. Anyways...
Well, it wouldn't be the exact same setup. My idea was a piece of the new flume, not the entire ride, would extend above the train tracks where part of "the mountain" can be constructed and ended. This would also enhance the CP&LE experience.
