Ooooh, oooh I know! How 'bout a spin-and-spue that unlatches its restraints and tosses folks who refuse to proofread--screaming in ALL CAPS and plenty of exclamation points--headfirst into Sandusky Bay?

My goal for the new ride to debut in 2005-2006, Highest, fastest and longest sitdown, with the most inversions. But make the ride about 4 minutes long. The average B&M is around $15M. I say spend $25M again but make it with the most inversions and add bunny hills after that for airtime similar to Nitro. With a ride lasting around 4 minutes. Then it could be 6 trains possibly, more then the average 3, and I think you have a great ride.....Unless B&M is cooking up something new then examine that.
Both manufacturers are great, Intamin pushes the envelope with new technology and their rides have some kinks when new but get worked out and are great. B&M is the Dependable company that will not push the envelope, more conservative is the word I am looking for. Oh well that's my thoughts now.
(Edit)One more thought. You may say we already have bunny hills and airtime with magnum. Yes we do, but I would like a long ride and alot of airtime from B&M now and not just Arrow. Nothing against magnum, or TTD for being short, both are excellent rides.

Seriously, I'm with Pete - some expansion of the nightlife scene would be nice. Grabbing a Sundae and kicking back on the beach after a day of riding is nice, but sometimes I wanna hit the dance floor and let loose.
I too agree with Pete, I think it would definitly help Cedar Point by putting in a night life district, maybe not on the actual peninsula, but in the area before the causeway.
I think a new restaurant would be nice, too. Something a little different from the current lineup. House of Blues is rumored to be coming to Cleveland. I think that something like that, on a seasonal basis, could be a good fit at Cedar Point ... mixing dinner with entertainment.
I wouldn't be disappointed if they didn't build #17 for a season or two - as long as they continued to make solid improvements elsewhere.

Coaster-wise, a true coaster nut knows what Cedar Point needs.........a classic out and back woodie ~ala~ Shivering Timbers.
Hey, who said a new Huss wouldn't do the trick (a big trick ;) ).
a flyer would be nice, but i say bring back the Pirate Ride! (or at least the little arcade thing) that area is very bare and desolate looking.

I doubt they would put any 'nightlife' into a highly family oriented park. I just don't think thats the kind of crowd and entertainment CP is going for.
Well, I'm not talking about a strip joint! A great water side resort needs something like a beach/carribean themed bar with a dance floor and some party/Jimmy Buffett type music. I don't care if they put in a martini bar with a piano player performing Sinatra, anything to provide some entertainment for the "non-morning" people at the resort.

Florida may have Disney World and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!
