Its not a B&M dive tower. Doesn't mean Intamin doesn't have something similar in the works (although I hope not).
Actually, I think Intamin did design something similar to that. It was called a Z Coaster or a Dive Coaster, and they built only one. Z-Force at Six Flags Great America. The coaster is now defunct, along with the ride design.

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.
I agree. I think that the sign just means they're going to build something completely different that what they've been doing in the past. Maybe even something unexpected. It's sure to be much different than the ideas that people are posting on here. I even heard, from a CP worker last October, that they were getting a 500- footer. Think about how secret they're keeping this; they don't want anyone to talk about it. CP is surely afraid that a 500- foot roller coaster would spawn for other parks to go higher and don't want to have to compete with another park with the same idea for the 2007 season. They pride themselves on being the 1st and let everyone copy behind them. But who at Cedar Fair wants the word to get out about a 500- footer- just so another park can get a start on one of their own?

That'd be the "SBNO" Flashback, now located at SF Magic Mountain.

Here is my idea on what this means...
I have it on a very good source that the new ride is going to take and turn and spin you upside down on red track and then take and shoot you into the ground through a tunnel at 60 MPH. The cars for this ride are coffin shaped and the lid closes on you so you can not see a thing. After going into the tunnel there is a slab of concrete where you meat your untimely death at the hands of cedar fair...
Disclaimer : This is not a real idea this is just me on no sleep whatsoever and bored and just thinking crap up because i am tired of having no real information to go on....
THIS IS A JOKE :) :)
When I was there a few days ago, they were working on that hole/big footer thing towards the middle and pumping out loads of water every second. It was just kind of spraying everywhere, almost like it wasn't connected to the hose properly, so I kind of laughed. Getting us back on topic, I can only imagine what a hassle it would be to make a tunnel.
Last public train of 2005 on MF!
