Water Bombs on Maverick

I'm watching the FrontierCam right now and the water shooting over the canyon is working! So maybe they are doing just 2 out of the 3!?

now i just saw on the webcam that the water bombs are also running! So hopefully the mist in the tunnel is running and we got all 3 of the special features running all at once!

I know this is an old topic, but does is bother anyone else that the water bombs on Maverick haven't worked correctly for a few years now?

They were working correctly last Tuesday.

When I went a couple weeks ago the 3rd water bomb was skipped.

They might be able to turn the ones that spray on the midway off, especially if it's cold outside.

Yeah I'm with you Alex. Maybe they turn them off when weather conditions are below a certain temperature outside. I cannot imagine Water bombs going down for mechanical reasons....lol.

Realistically, it shouldn't bother anyone that much (not that big a deal in the scope of things) but the thing not to forget is that those controls are in a natural water pond and are subject to some bad algae growth. Maintenance has to periodically pull them out of the water and clean them. Something that's probably not that high on their "must keep up on" list.

^It should be, I for one don't care if the roller coasters and rides are running, let alone safe, going to the park is not worth it if the water bombs aren't working ;)

damn Intamin water bombs...

When walking across that bridge, be careful about timing your walk. If there is a wind out of the west you are certain to be showered with smelly, cold pond water when the water cannons deploy.

If conditions are right you can also catch some water from Snake River Falls. It's probably best to walk as close to the middle of that bridge as possible.

I'm sure everyone will rest easy knowing that all three water canons were functional today. ;)

About time they got the Yellow Water Cannon working. :)

I can't rest easy because there are 4, not 3! Why is the other one still broke?!?? :)
