Water Bombs on Maverick

I love the water bombs and I think it would be neat if the riders did get wet, but not soaked. Maybe just a drizzle as the train passes by, I think that would be neat. The next trip I go, I hope I have a digital camera by then.

They were really cool yesterday.

I would say the muffelheads are worse, but at this point, I'll just avoid morning and night rides during bad Muffeldays.

okay before i start i'm gonna let everyone know that i'm new here! and i love Cedar Point!!! anyway... i was there June 7 and the water from the water bombs never even hit me and i was in the 3rd row. and i felt like 3 drops from that water that sprays over the track, thats it.

I think it depends on how the wind is on a given day.

I don't know, but I was there yesterday and the water shooting over the canyon was not that bad. I thought it was a cool ride element and didn't hurt me the least. You do get sprayed a little more in the right seat than in the left, but nothing to fuss over. I have rode Blue Streak in the rain and that stuff hurts.

yeah you can barely feel the water hit you. If you do feel it hit you its like a few drops and your dry by the time the ride ends and you forget you got wet.

I finally got to the park on 6/15 and I think the water bombs are great. As for the spray in the canyon it makes me laugh because it reminds me of the little waterfall that would hit you as you went into the cave on White Water Landing. I always remember how cold that water was, especially on a colder day, and trying to lean out of the car so not to get hit.

Except you wern't going 50-60mph on White Water Landing. If you did go that fast, maybe more people would have ridden it. :)

i saw them they are cool but u dont get wet

the mist in the tunnel is FINALLY WORKING! after riding it 32 times without it 33 was ten times better with it!

i read in another post that the water bombs are not running any more because they are only running the mist inside the tunnel and not the water bombs or the water shooting over the canyon!
