Just wondering has anyone seen the waterbombs on maverick? Do they look good and does anyone have any pics?
I didn't see them. I only saw the fountain spraying water over the canyon.

I saw them testing them before the ride opened on Thursday. They work pretty well, but no, they weren't on when the ride opened.

This news story from Fox 8 in Cleveland shows the water bomb feature. It's about halfway through the story.
Hmmm... so what's the deal then? Will we be seeing them?

I can see the fountain going over the canyon from the webcam on SRF. Does it stay on all of the time?
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Yes. I'd guess it's just recycling its own water.

I think this has to be a first for CP...themeing that isn't on in its first season..lol, at least DT has a better record than that. :)

No water bombs on Saturday or Sunday.
No steam in the launch tunnel on my rides.
Blue people fly sideways when it rains
I'd imagine it still needs some tweaking, and they thought better to have it off until they can get it right than to have it on and look sloppy.
Thrills Around the Corner!
~I think their main concern for the past week or so was ordering new track and removing the heartline roll and replacing the track. So I wouldn't be concerned about those things just yet. They probably wanted to have it up and running ASAP. They will work on that now that the ride is up and running~
i'm sure in time the water jets will come along. if not, perhaps they'll have the company that deals with the bellagio fountains step in and handle the situation.

stevieluv, just to update ya, before the problems with the track, the themeing was being nixed left and right...so its not like the track set anything else back, this is just the typical Cedar Fair way..
