Vertigo being Dismantled

True the "Breead and Butter" coaster will not be opening with all the other coasters, but should be open a week later or two, and anyways at least its to make "improvements.

When I drove up to CP a few weeks ago,I saw vertigo already dismantled laying next to Mean Streak I belive it was,actually It might have been Gemini.I took a few pictures of it. So long you short lived ride.

I'm not sure if anyone has "Confirmed" this yet, but looking out my window accross the bay' i see that Vertigo's remaining 2 towers are total down, and no crane is there. (through biniculors) SP!!?? anyways, so if anyone hasn't already said it. it did!

I was recently able to speak to Robin Innes about Vertigo and he mentioned that the ride was a standalone attraction, it generated its own revenue, and once the tower fell, the negativity surrounding the ride, it wouldn't be able to generate the same interest and popularity, it was a good decision to take it down.

I think they should have reoppened the one at Knott's for a month or so to see what kind of a reation it got. If the reaction was negetive, then they should have made the decision to take it down. I think people would still ride if given the facts and assured the ride was safe.

Giving the public the facts is only theory. We can tell them whatever the truth is surrounding about why the attraction fell. But they still know what happened and that will never be changed in their minds. How many times have we heard for someone to exit the ride to the right and half the train goes left?
