Finally! Vertical supports are going up for the lift hill!
Are you talking about that little white one? ;)
I have to agree with that one dude on here. It must be nice to be able to sit there at work and watch the webcam on your phone or computer. I work in a metal free environment and don't have a computer to work with. I also don't have a smart phone because I don't want one. I'm happy with my normal flip phone. So basically, I have to wait until 4:30 or 5:00 pm to see if anything is happening on the webcam.
So your personal preference of keeping your flip phone and not upgrading to a smartphone means that anybody who happens to check out the webcam on their phone has too much time on their hands? I don't even bother with the webcams myself until I see someone post here about it, but just like somebody already mentioned, if you have time to post on the forums, you have just as much time to check out the webcams so it's kind of one in the same.

Yeah, I know its not much, but at least its a visible addition on the webcam. We haven't really had that in a while. Maybe now we'll actually be able to see more of the progress soon, that is of course after Thanksgiving. Unless the construction company wants to pay the workers double time for working a holiday.
You know it is the off-season when we fight about how we waste our time and webcams.
Let's Get Weird.
Atleast it won't be as bad as last season where there were 20 wish list threads.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I didn't see it looking back a few pages. WKYC has some pretty good pictures that I haven't seen anywhere else yet. http://www.wkyc.com/news/photo-gallery.aspx?storyid=266309

I'm sorry dude. I didn't mean for it to come out that way. What I'm saying is I'm jealous of the people that have time to check out the webcam period! Either way I don't have access to check it out until later in the evening. Once again, I'm sorry for the way that came out.
^^Thanks for sharing that link. Those are cool pics!

I loved looking at those pictures. Lots more construction/destruction than we can see from the webcams. Thanks for sharing.

Now I look like quite an ass haha. It's all good. I believe I read that wrong. I'm sorry as well.
I have a question for you guys regarding Gatekeeper construction. Is anybody allowed to go to Cedar Point to check it out? I will be near the park in December and was thinking about stopping by but I am not sure if they would even let me in.
They will stop you at the toll booths. And, unless you have an appointment, you will be forced to turn around.

That support in the lift area appears to be gone...
Nope. Still there. Maybe it was the way the sun was hitting it because I couldn't see it yesterday when I looked on the cam.
No Bossmccann, you wouldn't. Don't worry though, there just might be a Pointbuzz tour sometime next year.

Looks like another piece might be about ready to be added. Over the past few minutes the arm of the red crane has lowered and now it looks like it's at the ground, ready for a piece of track to be attached to it.

They don't lower the boom to attach a new piece of track. They lower the boom if there's either high winds or they don't plan on using the crane for a couple of days. There are strong wind gusts in the forecast so it's safe to assume that is the reason why the boom is down.
