Vertical Construction Has Begun!

Stripping all of that down can take a good while depending on how they go about the scrapping process. Also, they could be focusing the man power somewhere else. Like the same group of workers taking the booths apart could be working on taking the pavilion apart. Regardless, I bet the front booths will be gone by sometime this week or next week.

Don't forget that it has only been 13 days since closing day and they have a good amount done as it is now. I think they're going at a great pace.

looks like the live cam is actually down... moving it maybe?

It would be cool if they are so we can get a better view of the progress of the construction.....

I find it funny that every time a camera goes down, someone speculates that it might be moved. Someone will eventually be right. But, in this case it seems more likely that the strong winds we had in the last day or so knocked it out of commission.

I always laugh at those speculations too. However those are less annoying than the conspiracy theorists who always think the cams are down to prevent us from seeing stuff...

Which brings up an excellent point....I bet they have started work in Frontiertown for the 2nd coaster being built for 2013....because you know there is that coaster war that they have to win........Bahahahahaha!

^Oh my jebus. *Facepalm*

The only people who care about that are the crack-smoking execs at Magic Mountain. And the 12 year olds who play RCT 10 hours a day. Lets not forget Mr. K

And of course, 4 of the first 8 comments are asking about moving the webcam. :)

I think an ideal location would be where the Disaster Transport refreshments are as of now. I know they're going to call that something else next year, but just mount it there.

maybe it going to be call gatekeeper $ 10.00 coke . lol

Her last name isn't Murphy, is it? Colleen Murphy was the GM of wildwater kingdom in Ohio. I'm not sure if she still is, though. (If she moved to work at CP).

Oh man, looks like they finally had to bring out the big dog. The red crane is no longer inoperable! Pretty good size crane too I might add. Reaching up equally as high as Wicked Twister.

So I'm guessing because of that, they are going to be starting work on the lift hill?

Looks like the one picnic pavilion over by the season pass center has been demolished a little. Unless I'm looking at that wrong.

It also looks like the big white tent is gone.
