I wonder what the purpose of that would be. Isn't a fence going there?

The purpose of it is probably just aesthetics and giving guest a clear viewing area. In the POV Animation, there is a steel fence that goes directly around all of the low clearance areas.

I think it looks like it will be a viewing structure.

Isn't the midway a "viewing structure"?

In the animation, it's a decorative fence. I don't see anything that suggests it won't be exactly that.

I think the rain really show's that it is just a decorative fence with temporary scaffolding around it. With the rain, you can seen the wooden platform of the scaffolding.

Also, the lights on the final break run have been turned on.

I don't mean to double post, but there are new construction photos available! The "castle" theming is really coming along nicely. It's going to look great!

It's alright that you double posted. You had good reasoning for it dude. Thank you for the photo update. It's good to see upclose what you can't see from the webcam.

When does everyone think the first full circuit test will take place?

Next week

In the meantime, they need to point the webcam at Rougarou so I can watch it test next week. :)

If the new stairs next to the blue bratwurst building are not for the Throne, might I suggest another idea. Could this be a full time Plinko area at the top of the stairs and new photo op spot (I'm guessing the view there is perfect looking up with the bunny hill in the lower foreground).

You cue up using the old diagonal ramp for the old theater, walk along the wall , all the while smelling bratwurst before you pay to play a game, take a picture and are quickly sent down the steps and away from that perfect picture spot just in time to fulfill your brat craving.

Now that STR is no more, I'm assuming Rougarou is your new favorite?

Yes. Rougarou is a roller-coaster I quickly became addicted to last year. Every time I had the opportunity last year, I rode Rougarou. So much better ride compared to Mantis. I probably drove Thabto crazy last year.

Definitely way better than Mantis. I have the most fun in the front seat

Agreed... Now in my top 5 rides at CP. trains are so comfortable and I've always loved the layout

It's awesome, yep. I always loved the layout but the stand-up trains always made my legs hurt. Like, a lot.

Shawn, you've chosen a far better ride to obsess over. :P

Proud 5th Liner and CP fan since 1986.

Thank you Sollybeast. Yes I feel better about obsessing over Rougarou! One reason is I know other people will want to ride it with me! I feel the same way that you did when it came to Mantis. When it was Mantis, it hurt my man parts and my legs. With Rougarou, I get more Gs and thrill than ever before!
