This picture is very intresting. could it be a dueling coaster? Probly not, but the supports make you think

I love Monkeys! I love Monkeys!
Woohoo...more pictures...it would be cool if by the next update in a couple days if the coaster was finished by then...I'd even pay the crew $5 if they got it done by then.

Yeah it looks like some pretty big supports are being put in. Maybe (hopefully) it won't be a Rita-type ride afterall.
Also, if these supports are straight up like that, doesn't it mean they will have other supports attatched on top of them?http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4366

from the pic that you're showing i believe that actual track will be attached but the flat ends of these supports
http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4461
possibly suggest that other supports will be placed on top...not necessarily true but if you look at the support in the background jointed together, you'll notice that where it is jointed together the pieces are flat there...hopefully that makes some sense ;)
There is nothing quite like becoming a human windshield on Millennium Force
now is it me or do the supports look bigger in the pictures? when i saw them in person only the small turning looking ones were up.
The best pictures thus far. Many interesting things going on, such as pieces of supports being put together. This thing is getting better and better every day. Thanks so much Walt.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Gmoney, what are you talking about?
http://www.pointbuzz.com/midwayvision/project2007mv44.jpg
Those interesting (looking) pieces in the center are nothing but regular supports with a angled end to it. They look like they make a "V" because the way MidwayVision pictures are taken. It's a seris of photos taken in a rotation that are then stiched together. The real supports don't look like that.
No offense Keith but I believe you are wrong... If not they are terribly accurate stitches in the middle and you can see them in the very far off distance in another MV pic here (look in between the yellow bulldozers on the left. The railroad "X" crossing sign is pointing at one side of the Y. There is also a guy in a red shirt that is standing by the one on the left in the pic you put a link to. You can also see it here http://www.pointbuzz.com/midwayvision/project2007mv40.jpg just above the closest support in the picture...
Those are very curious supports and great pics! Good job Walt!

Love it or Lump it.

I'm ready to agree that this will be a launch coaster. http://www.pointbuzz.com/gallery.aspx?i=4460
If you don't think so, compare that picture to what you see on TTD's launch.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
No offense aighead, but I belive you are wrong.
I don't see a buldozer anywhere. Above the closest support in the picture is... the sky. And I don't see any railroad Xs or any V supports. As soon as you can find me a NON MidwayVison picture, I'll believe that there is a V support. Because images are always skewed when put into the Panarama form.
Still, there is no V support.
Edit:
Ok, I found some other pictures, that ARE midwayvision, that show it off in the very back. However, I did notice in the picture first supplied, it does indicate that the support will be holding other supports on the ends. Thus, it's not that track will be connected to these "V" supports, but rather, more supports.
I guess, I was wrong. I was assuming, however that gmoney ment the track would be connected to this support, which, is not true. *** Edited 7/26/2006 5:25:52 AM UTC by Keith 2005***
I will save my useless speculation as I honestly have no idea what this coaster will be, other than a great ride... The pictures are great, keep them coming in as it is reaaly amazing to see the day to day progress of this ride, and a lot of progress has been made in a short time.... the really are moving in a whole new direction now!
