Update - More 5/23 and 5/24

This coaster seems it gonna be some criss-crossing, hilly coaster with it being how much footers there are right now.

Cedar Point's building a new a 500 foot mega-looping aquatrax???!

I used to enjoy the 'intelligent' speculation...

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.

^LOL:)

R.I.P. Mr. Scott

I don't care what we get, as long as it has one of these:

Wow, that ride looks wicked! That would be a cool element on the new ride. I can't wait for vertical construction :)

I can't wait for supports.....which then leads to vertical construction!:)

The track for the pics of the "looper" look very very very very identical to the ones we are seeing in the staging area... I am now a believer of the "looper".

Ben, I'm just curious as to what type of camera you have. A couple of those pictures tell me that you have one heck of an optical zoom. :)

Haven't chimed in for awhile...amused by all the ideas, and then one of Jeff's well-timed remarks...

After seeing those pictures of both colossus and goliath, I would personally be very pleased to see something like either of those. The aquatrax idea rates about a zero our of 10 on the excitement meter for myself, but that also seems just as likely.

Screamscape mentioned that the latest rumor (and I have no idea where they get this) for the layout indicates a "traditional lift hill", followed by a mid-ride "launch"...rumor, yes, but I like the idea a lot, actually. Why not have both!

Screamscape gets their ideas from the same place that many of the posters on here seem to.

Goodbye MrScott

Screamscape is run by people who think they know. In reality they don't.

Hey Walt, what's happening.

I'm gonna need you to go ahead and get those aerial shots on Saturday, mmmkay? You see, were gonna need to have those a bit sooner, because we're pretty impatient around here lately.

So, yeah... Did you get that memo?

(/lumburgh voice)

;)

Brandon

Oh and walt while you are there, could you get my stapler. I need to put some memos together...

JuggaLotus's avatar

They aren't memos. They're TPS Reports.
