Right hand coner at the end of the row, isn't that a twist piece of track?
Yes, but you can't see that it goes all the way so it's not necessarily a full inversion, just a cool twist.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
It could be a twist or a transition from {for example} a right hand corner to a left hand corner.
First trip June 23rd
Just out of curiosity, have those of you who have actually walked up to the fence to take pictures had any problems or been confronted? I've been taking pictures from the lot because I didn't want any problems...

Hey guess what? I just got off the phone with my inside guy at the point. He told me that the track at Breakers is not for 2007. It is for the new coaster at the hotel.
If you read into this, then you need to get some help.

I am almost convinced that it will be a looper at this point. This picture shows track that all but guarantees some kind of inversion (barrel roll):

And this picture shows a piece that could be placed in a loop that moves the train to the side so that it can exit:
I was thinkin the exact same thing.
An electrical transformer appeared on site today. I took well in excess of 400 pictures of the park this week. I may have some construction site pictures up tonight, but if not, definitely tomorrow when I'm back in Lansing. (I had a slight change in plans and decided to stay an extra night in Sandusky)
This picture looks like it could fit here http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?a=459 ( just the part where the train is at in the first pic). What do you guys think?
I had never seen that Goliath coaster that was mentioned earlier (http://www.rcdb.com/id1565.htm), but I'd have to say that I like the looks of it. I'm all about big coasters, but a "little" 200 foot Johnny that goes say, 65-70 miles an hour would be a great aquisition, in my opinion. So personally, I'd be a lot more enthused about getting a 200 footer or a looper (or both at the same time!) than getting an Aquatrax
PS. I know it must have been linked to before, probably multiple times, but I just can't seem to find any links to pictures of an operating aquatrax, so could someone please post one here? Thanks.

When i took those pics from the 23rd there were people closing the truck back up from the ones they just unloaded. I was literally hanging over the fence to get some good shots, hope everyone liked 'em. Noone ever even looked my direction while i was there. *** Edited 5/25/2006 3:54:04 AM UTC by Loopy***
Wow do those riders look excited on that aquatrax!
I still don't get the premise of that coaster. It looks nothing like a jet-ski. Why that fake log flume? Do you even get wet on that ride?
I don't know who started the whole idea of the aquatrax coaster, but I found it to be just as unlikely as the ride being a dive machine (and this was way before it was confirmed an Intamin). Although it is still possible since the track type is consistent, I just don't see it happening.
With that said, people are starting to get hostile against the newfound mega-looper bandwagon. Why, might I ask? As of now, there are two established ride types from Intamin that fit in with what we've seen so far...and they happen to be their mega-looper and the aquatrax.
So pick a side...just don't be too disappointed if you're hoping it's an aquatrax. ;)

I was hoping for a B&M flyer, but I guess I will have to wait on that.
As for the Intamin, I just hope it runs most of the time.
Technicaly, all Intamins do run most of the time.

As Jugga said, there's no hostility toward opinions that are stated as such. Its those opinions that get stated as fact that are being contested.
