TTD Status: Day to Day

Like I'd care anyways......burn me all you want!!:)

Anywho, just got back from CP and aside from a few delays made by riders and a 45 minute spurt of downtime in the morning, Dragster ran Great!!

And I have some funny stories to tell.
On me and my friends 3 ride (around 10), we we're in the station and the trains weren’t being dispatched and we were wondering what was going on. Well this girl was trying to decide if she wanted to go on or not (she was SCARED). Out of nowhere, the ENTIRE station starts clapping for her and cheering for her to get on! Well after about 10 minutes she finally straps in and rides. Well when her train got to the unload station, she was giving all of us a thumbs up and she had the biggest grin on her face....so everyone started clapping and cheering for her.

So after that fiasco, I just so happened to be behind another first time rider. So you know I told them about me and my ride count and whatever, and so she wanted me to sit with her (she had 2 children with her that apparently drug her on). Well I did and BOY WAS SHE SCARRED!! She kept repeating as we pulled up into launch position "Oh Jesus!! OH lord!!"....So I told her the launch sequence and everything and then we launched. Well as we hit the 90° turn, I saw her go limp and thought "OH SH** she fainted!!!!” So I started freaking out. She was ok as we crested the top but it didn’t end there. She apparently had a small, plastic cigarette case that was draped around her neck. As we crested the top, it slid out from between her. This all appeared to be going in slow motion so it was crazy. Well I saw it float out and FREAKED out and lunged for it before it flew off her. I got it on the 3rd lunge and got my funniest pose on Dragster to date. WELL, we braked and she started her "OH LORD!! OH JESUS!!!! routine and thanked me for getting through it with her and what not. :)

All in all.....it was the most fun I've ever had on Dragster at night.

So what was the funny story?

^^...both? Well, they may have not been funny to you, but I found them to be funny. The stations reaction I thought was funny, and the fact that I had to lunge for the lady's cigarette case on the 270° spin was funny.

Oh, well....I guess not everybody shares the same sense of comedy as I do. :)

lol Well it wasn’t a literal "lunge". I guess it was more of a half lunge.:)
I got it..... I frantically reached for the cigarette case before it flew off the women.....there, I think that sounds better. :)

Cigarettes are bad M'kay. You should have let them fall so she could stop killing herself.

Is the ride running today? I didn't see it on the Funcoast Cam. Somebody has to know somethin.

I watched it launch a couple of time this morning. AND it's launching now soo it's indeed running today.:)

OH and about the cigarette case. I didnt know they were cigarettes, thought it was makeup.

Come to think of it, I'm surprised the op at the enterance didnt tell her to put it and her purse in a locker before she went on....because they were both very loose articles.......as I found out.:)

LOL Adam I am sure you find a girlfriend. Plus I remeber on test run and Dragster got stuck on top. People were freaking out, so the next day in the area note for the day there was pic with the train stuck. Subtitle was "OMG, George stuck on TTD how did he get up there?

Thats a sad way of lookin at things--at least you could get yourself a TTD love doll :P just kidding man. Women are evil!!!!!!

Truth be told.....I'm not really looking. ^_^

TTD at your age u need to at least embrace a girl cause u have the biggest selection of in shape women at your age. Go after it! Just dont get too serious too fast it will haunt you. Anyway, top thrill is a great ride and i might be ridin it next week!!!! Last time i was at the park was in 2003 and we got on the ride the last hour of the last day we were in the area. Thats right i have only ridden it once. I was speechless

Anyways, the ride ran great today. I think it had some downtime in the mid-afternoon, but other than that, things seemed to run well.

haha, my g/f moved away and she told me to go with her, but i stayed here for the sole reason that its so close to CP.
