I believe I read that it took around 6 to 9 hours for the cable to be replaced back in 2004. As long as they have an extra one on site, it should be the same situation.
A broken cable can't stand in TTD's way. We're going for a record here Adam. (TTD operates everyday for the 2006 season, we're almost there)

They were having a hard time getting the old cable disconnected from the sled. They were working on that for atleast 2 hours, and were still doing so when I left. They kept talking about how everything was rusted on.... and the pieces that were coming off were definitely quite rusted.

That's what I thought.
I highly doubt the ride will remain closed tomorrow. They work on these problems through the night. Sadly this type of problem isn't all that uncommon (meaning not to hard to fix). I would just expect the ride to open late due to the necessary testing being delayed. *** Edited 7/26/2006 3:32:21 AM UTC by Gomez***

Neither does mine. Dragster knows when I'm at the park. It always behaves when Im there. Why do you think it decided to break down tuesday? It's because I was at the park Monday.;)
P.S.-It's been closed for half the day now.
