Good for them... I'm sure it'll be an even larger headache than TTD is :)

Does anyone know any SixFlags fan sites.
Well I never thought that TTD's record would be broken so soon. Shows how much I know! I bet that hill gets a lot of airtime though!
www.GADV.com click Fourms then your in all this info is in read away, SF just set the standards for Cedar Points next record breaking Coaster... *** Edited 9/29/2004 2:45:00 AM UTC by Joe@cp04***
So that's the new coaster.
I'm not really very suprised I guess, and it was unlikely for them to break 500 which I have a feeling CP will do when it is done. Sounds like fun though.

Magnum still rocks.

That's bull crap. The media announcement hasn't even happened yet. It's not until tomorrow morning.
yeah well im getting all this information from www.GADV.com, true or not, well find out tomorrow, but it is for certin Top Thrill Dragster is offically to be the second in command in not just North America, but the 2nd tallest coaster,

Size dosent matter, records not at all, as long as we have our 400 foot rocket, im happy as hell...

From MSNBC.com

"Six Flags Great Adventure is opening the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster this spring - a thrill ride that accelerates to 128mph in 3.5 seconds and rises 456 feet off the ground!

There is nothing on www.gadv.com saying any of that bull you just said. Stop being an attention whore. I'm going to the media announcement tomorrow, they wouldn't leak anything the night before. Good God...
I have no link to that article on MSNBC.com, but that quote was taken from the same site.....by a user going by the name Makel, from what i hear, hes a credible source for SFGADV... so i dont know belive it or not,

What do you guys think of the picture of this ride, I think it looks awsome, & it will be awsome....while its running, expected 70% downtime, acceleration =0-128 in 3.8 seconds

So basically the ride is the same except for the airtime hill? If this is true, then how do they plan on stopping the ride in such a short track area? Unless the turn around area after the brakes is just extremely far back and out of place, then this is going to be one hell of a stop.....

Eats records my butt....30 feet and a few extra miles per hour wont even be noticable while riding.

I am also confused as to how this ride can be 50 seconds long while Dragster being around 20.

O wait, these stats aren't official. ;)

AKA Cobraroller on Cbuzz

Don't listen to him. He tried posting this crap over at www.gadv.com and they told him to screw off too. He's just looking for some attention. Tomorrow is the announcement and I will be there. TOMORROW we will know what this ride is...

Maybe they start counting your time on the ride from the time you get in the train til the time you get off the train???

MLEM4S Still Rules!!!

Yeah, everything makes fair enough sense except for the time.

Yeah i jumped the Gun alittle, these stats arent offical, as i was reading the posts on GADV i started having my doubts, no way can it be 50 seconds, the 127' hill @ 128 mph would yes derail the train, & 128MPH up a 456 ft hill, but owell the picture is pretty realistic, so you have to wonder where this guy got his information? & its gotta be real, but then again, it might not be, i still like the picture though...
Interesting, we shall wait and see tommorow...bunny hill looks sweet.
Whether the stats are correct or not, I don't know; however, the 50 seconds is extremely reasonable. The 17 seconds that people talk about for Dragster is from the start of the Launch to the Finish Line. On average, it takes 59.514 seconds for a train to launch and come to a complete stop at Unload 2 on Dragster.

I can't wait to see what kind of air time that bunny hill gets... even before I knew about this new coaster I was planing an east coast trip next year. Now I have even more of a reason to go.
