Walt, those are some great pictures! From what I'm hearing from some friends, Happy Jacks may be the first Halloweekends attraction that actually scares me, and the pictures are certainly making me think it could be. The attention to detail on Erie Estate also looks stunning and I'm excited to see them. If these are longer than Club Blood they will also be great, as Club Blood was almost long enough when they had the place full of screamsters.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I would say Happy Jack's is about the same length as Club Blood - but Eerie Estate is substantially longer. So much of the intensity in that house is built in - I can't imagine what it's going to be like when the monsters come in. The pictures are good - but don't do the level of detail justice. It is jawdropping.

I'm not sure why I didn't post this here first. But, the latest OnPoint Blog Entry shows a picture of an old friend in the Toy Factory.

I think the Disney comparison is absolutely warranted, and completely favorable to Cedar Point. These sets are absolutely beautiful, to the extent that it's a bummer some of the detail will be lost in the low light. Eerie in particular is just completely outstanding, especially given that it used to be an office.

Anyone else who'd been through Eerie Estate (or looked at the photos) count the old props from around the park in the trophy room?
I agree with Jeff, the level of detail will be lost in the lighting conditions, but this is what creates complex layers of or a story and really reinforces the atmosphere. I can't wait to hit these new haunts once the monsters move in.

Would someone then be safe in assuming that with such a level of detail and a lack of lighting, that you'll see different/more stuff every time you go through the attraction? As opposed to Disaster Transport where the low light level is just hiding the crappiness. :)

Looking back, I might have underestimated the length, but we went through it directly after Eerie Estate (which is insanely long), so it seemed short. You're right, it's longer than Club Blood, but it's hard to compare to Pharos Secret because the rooms in HJTF are much, much bigger scenes.

Club Blood had some good gags, and I'd say two or three really interesting sets, but none of it can touch Eerie. Toy Factory is significantly longer than Pharoh. I'm thinking after the mirror hall (the old entry way to DT), the first queue room is now split into four rooms/halls. And without the burden of the old DT queue going through the second room, its use is far more efficient than it was. It's a really long walk.
