I went to the Haunted Hoochie south of Columbus on Saturday. I know CP can't do something like that, but I would like just one house with tons of gore.
Let's Get Weird.
It would be nice, but as proof shows by the results Halloweekends received by Haunted House Tour.... it shows you don't need gore, to be a great event, and we proved that by winning the Frightmaster award. http://hauntedhousetour.com/ratings.htm
(And Terror Island highest vote for outdoor zone, sorry guys had to show some love for the fellow marauders)
11 years.
The walk through the starlight experience strip was the scariest attraction in the park for me. With the thick fog and well orchestrated lighting and monsters it made for a few jumpy moments. Not to mention some of them really have that whole knee pad sliding thing down.
I went through the toy factory for the first time sunday, and I was blown away. This house had some of the best theming I have ever seen in a haunted house.

I'd like to see them come over to Terror Island and do the "knee sliding thing". We'll see how well that goes. ;)
pave the island and I'll be over this weekend.

S.T.A. - died with the Fright Zone
We just got back. We went Friday night and the park was dead! I was stuck on Millenium because of a "cleanup" because of someone getting sick and I was sitting there and looked over and now know what you guys mean about Single Rider Bob, first time ever seeing him. Although this was our first and last visit of the year. Anyway, Friday night we rode everything with the longest wait being about 20 minutes for Maverick.
We hit all the haunted houses - Toy Factory was good but they were letting too many people in at one time and too quickly so we were a like a bunch of cattle being herded. It was okay. My favorite was Eerie Estates - that was AWESOME!!! The rooms were great!! Cornstalkers gets worse every year - no one to scare you. Waste of time. I have to give kudos to whoever uses the garbage can in Fright Zone. We were walking out of the Zone on Friday night and this thing comes charging right at us through the laser beams, scared the heck out of all of us!! We didn't know what to do!! Carn Evil - horrible - everybody justs walks around. Terror Island - the bungee jumper got my nieces good - nice job!!
I now know about the pop issue - I almost died when I ordered a small and large pop and had to fork over $9. Anyway, we went back Saturday and basically walked right back out of the park. IT WAS PACKED!! Millenium had to of had at least 2 1/2 hour wait. It was all the way to the back. It was cold and breezy with rain. So we left. Best time to go is Friday night and do something else on Saturday.
I was actually at my first HW this past weekend and it was great. Saturday was packed so we just did a few zones. I do have to say that the overlord thing was great. I got some video of the march. Fright zone rocked. I ended up doing all the walk-thru on Saturday night and the houses on sunday. All in all it was a great experience. Toy factory was great, the ending was a little odd.
Firemen never die, they just burn forever in the hearts of the people whose lives they saved
I think the ending is great! Not what you would think it would be! I went through again yesterday! the crew in it was fun!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
I thought the ending was STELLAR - albeit very unexpected, but definitely original!!!! If you haven't taken care of any of those things at the ending before, you may not appreciate the twisted humor involved!
I'm sure this place will have a hard time topping itself next year :-)
I went through the Toy Factory twice on Sunday with absolutely no wait. I thought it was great! Hope it returns next year!

I went through the Toy Factory last Sunday as well and was blown away. Me and my buddies both agreed this was the best Halloween Haunted House at Cedar Point. They did a lot of good work on it as far as the Theatrics go. The funniest part about this was the babies peeing as you walk out. I really got a kick out of that.
Toy Factory was amazing! I wasn't impressed with Erie Estates the first time we went through, no one scared us at all on Friday night. We went through again on Sunday and it was so much better, got startled a couple of times. We hung out in Fright Zone for a while Saturday night and I think I could spend all evening just watching the Screamsters get people. I love Mr Giggles, and the sliders are just awesome to watch!

I <3 HalloWeekends!
I went through Toy Factory on the last day of the season and wasn't impressed. But the employees didn't want to be there, so I don't blame them. I'm sure it was really cool when it opened.
But the ending was great!
1,146 rides on Raptor. Three rides in 2009.
This past Saturday night we hit Terror Island, Carnevil, and Fright Zone but the wind was too strong so there wasn't much fog. We also went through Undertaker U. Hopefully it get's a redo next year because with all of the great things they've added to Halloweekends, it just doesn't fit in anymore. Sunday we went through all of the outdoor zones and they were much better. The fog was great. Terror Island was just as good as it was last year. Carnevil is just meh for me. I like the new location but it's just missing something. Fright Zone was as excellent as it has always been. I really loved the lasers at the entrances. Cornstalkers remains my favourite Halloweekends tradition. I love everything about it. Very well done. As for Fear Faire, we didn't even bother with it this year. I was never thrilled by it. It's a huge area but it seems very desolate.
I was very impressed with both Erie Estate and Toy Factory. We went through them both on Sunday. Erie Estate was so well decorated that I was blown away by the detail. Toy Factory was really cool too. I love the degree of detail used this year in those two new houses. I hope we see more of that in years to come. We also went through Club Blood after getting our last ride on Demon Drop. It was just as good as it was last year. I still love the body bag room the most. Looking forward to see what year 14 of Halloweekends has in store.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
