These sets are absolutely beautiful, to the extent that it's a bummer some of the detail will be lost in the low light.
I was thinking the same thing. Even if you aren't into the scares, there will be plenty to look at. I'm sure most people will find something new every time they make a trip through.
Having gone through both EE and HJTF with sound and effects, I can definitely say the AMAZING detail that EE has will not be as ruined as some say and or think. It's really well done and everything. I didn't get to hear the music in HJTF but most of the effects (at least what was up as of sunday) worked really well with the surroundings to give a creepy factory feel.
I can't wait to go through EE and HJTF with scare actors. There were MANY great scare points....as well as some very clever scare points.

I have to say that both of these new haunted houses sound great. I can't wait to hit them this weekend. I am glad that the disaster transport house finnaly got redone, but I am even more looking forword to the G.A Beckling haunt.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I agree, I liked Happy Jack's Toy Factory a bit more than Eerie Estate, BUT both are awesome, and I like each of them for different reasons. The detailing is amazing, really is some of the best I have seen and is a great step forward for HalloWeekends.
The ending of Toy Factory is a real treat lol Never expected to see that and everyone was really going crazy about it.
The whole event was Fantastic! I will have a more in depth write up during the week, but wanted to say how great yesterday was! Looking forward to going back!
I loved the working Jack in the box by the entrance! Amazing.
They need to have a guy like this running around! http://whatthecrap.files.wordpress.com/2007/05/180px-jack-in-the-box-ceo.gif
Let's Get Weird.
Undertaker U has a vortex. Actually, I think it has 2, but only 1 was spinning when I went through. I am not 100% sure if the 1st tunnel is a vortex, but I think it was spinning last year.
The multiple colored one is the craziest vortex I have been in in terms of feeling like I am moving/dizziness. I still felt the spinning after exiting the house lol
Maybe this has been mentioned, I haven't taken the time to read through all seven pages here, but does it seem like a good idea to leave Eerie Estate as a season-long attraction? I mean, the building ain't goin anywhere, (I'm not sure what other uses it has now that the offices have moved), it looks top-notch, and it would fill a void at Cedar Point as far as walk-thru scare-house attractions go. Or is it best left for Halloweekends only?
Anyway, both new haunts seem brilliant. I'm not much for scares, but I may have to give these a try.
