As soon as the train parked in the station, the control panel had a timer from 0-60. Once it hit 60, the train was allowed to be dispatched. It could not be dispatched prior to the 60 second break. However, I can assure you that there have been MANY times it was dispatched in 60 seconds, depending on the crew.

With 6 more rows than TT2, it will be easier to check 10 rows of seats and dispatch within 60 seconds. Like I have said before, it’s not hard.

In 2003 we discovered that you could enable the train at 58 seconds.

That was when efficiency was a goal.

Come to think of it, I think we found that out too lol. The dispatch button would blink prior to the timer hitting 60 lol.

We knew we hit "interval" when the last high-pitched 'ping' in Crystal Method's The Winner happened when the train was up the back spike on Swing 2. That was the absolute fastest we could get the train out.

Well this thread sure did slow down after the announcement.

Well yeah, now we're all waiting for Top Thrill 3, the epic finale to the trilogy.

Top Thrill 2 is not a new credit! Or is it?

Personally, I'm considering it a new credit due to the significant change in ride design with the addition of the spike and multiple launches.

At the same time though, I consider Mantis and Rougarou to be a single credit as the only change was the train.... and Avalanche Run and Disaster Transport to be a single credit since the only change was theming when the building was enclosed.

Assuming I find a single new credit somewhere between now and next spring (most likely Lake Winnie's Cannon Ball, or Flying Cobras on my fall visit to Carowinds), TT2 will end up being my 100th credit.

Tony said on the Coaster Radio podcast that he is signing off on it being a new credit!

My 2 cents:

A ride is an experience. If this experience changes significantly, it's a new thing. If you get to experience that thing, it's a credit.

If you rode Avalanche Run but not Disaster Transport, you never experienced Disaster Transport. I rode both (like many of you here). At least when Disaster Transport was new, it was a significantly different experience. New, now unattainable, credit.

Different scenario; Six Flags painting Superman purple and calling it Bizarro. Not a significantly new experience, not a new credit.

But I digress. Tony has spoken.

And no. Different seats on lots of coasters give riders a different ride, but not something significantly different.

If you go into the shed on Mystic Timbers and get a new ending, you don't get a new credit.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure the park's PR spokesperson would call it a new credit even if it didn't meet the Enthusiast Community Standard Guidelines' official definition of a new credit. It's kind of his job.

But yes, definitely a new credit given what they're doing. And also in my opinion even if all they did was swap out the hydraulics for LSMs.

Also, I'm with Kevin. I've never counted my credits and have personally never understood the desire to do so, much less brag about them, proclaim "Roller Coaster 1" as their Nth credit, etc. But to each their own (unless they're abbreviating Steel Vengeance in violation of the Enthusiast Community Standard Guidelines).

I guess we need a new acronym. SBNO (Standing But Not Operating) won't explain TT2 next year. It needs to be something like SBOASD (Standing But Operating As Something Different).

Relax, fella. You can be passionate about roller coasters and not feel the need to count them. People enjoy the hobby in different ways. Brandon didn't say that you or anyone else is wrong for doing it. He just said he personally doesn't understand their desire to do it.
