Chuck Wagon:
RCDB says it is the same coaster. A similar case exists in Phantom's Revenge/Steel Phantom.
I'm only laughing because I was about to use Phantom's Revenge and Steel Phantom as another perfect case of a coaster being a new credit in my original post but didn't. Has anyone done a welfare check on RCDB lately?
This can only be settled over drinks at Trail Tavern.

Your shear keys joke wasn't that bad. That's two!
I was just looking for an excuse to post a photo from Copenhagen to brag a little.
Also, CoasterBuzz calls this a new ride. I have spoken.

Along that same line, how long does it take a ride op to forget their spiel after leaving?
A few years ago I was doing the maiden trans-atlantic cruise for a new cruise ship. Middle of the Atlantic ocean I met two guys who worked Blue Streak in mid 90's.
They both still knew it.

I had a similar thought when riding Storm Runner at Hershey Park this past week. Even at only 72mph the chest pounding acceleration of the hydraulic launch gave me that same adrenalin that TTD did. It will be interesting how the dynamics of the ride change with LSM. Regardless, I'm very excited for the extended and hopefully more reliable (it has to be, right?) Top Thrill 2.
