I think how many people the queue holds is not really something to worry about. That is something CP has not really had a problem with and I would be confidant that they wouldn't have more than enough space. Those pics only show the entrance plaza, not the whole queue itself.
Sorry if this has been discussed already. But I don't feel like going back through the entire thread. Are they going to have bins on platform, or be strictly "no loose articles" policy? I would choose the latter, just because storage bins will slow down loading/unloading IMO. I hate bins! It will be interesting to see how the station works. I have not done X-Flight or Wild Eagle yet.
Jerry, I'm not sure anyone officially knows the answer. But, with the load/unload being in the same area, it will likely have bins.

I hope you're wrong. They don't need crap bins up there, it will only slow things down. See Dollywood. Put the crap in a locker, like you do on MF.

Since passengers have to exit the trains from the same side new passengers are getting on, where would you put bins?

Bins would go between airgates like this:
1 BIN 2 3 BIN 4 5 BIN 6 7 BIN 8
This minimizes the bin's effect on capacity because there is a bin right next to every person as they enter and exit. This is the exact set up used on X Flight at Six Flags Great America.
How much room is between the gates and the seats of the coaster train?
(did the tour take you up the stairs...I would be surprised if they did).
The first thing that comes to my mind is SKYRUSH at Hershey. Those trays/bins, whatever they were between the gates, sure slowed down load/unload. It just was nuts when the gates open and having people place items in the same area that others are trying to pick up their items from at the same time.
Holding the gates to others clear out sure holds up the load process. So, I will hope and expect CP to do the no loose article thing like Dragster and MF.
I never saw SkyRush's bins personally but I can tell you X Flight works perfectly. The airgates open as soon as the train stops. Once in a while someone will try to sneak back into the queue instead of exiting, but the crew was very good at catching them when they tried.
The bins belong on the midway. As lockers.

I can't even imagine the number of stolen items if there is one bin for all 3 trains.

They would have one bin for each train, just like, MS, BS, Magnum, Maverick....etc. But, I think/hope/pray they will opt for the locker policy.
How would you do 1 bin for each train if you're locating bins in between the air-gates? You're going to stack 3 bins in a row between each set of gates? I hope Jeff gets his wish and they go with lockers and not bins for this.
Although, I wouldn't mind seeing them go with lockers for all rides and completely get rid of the bins.

I'm surprised no one brought it up during the tour, it would have been one of my first questions.

I didn't know what forum to ask this, but do they have the chain on the lift hill. I'm sure they do if testing is going to start real soon.

I'm pretty sure the chain was added right after the last piece of track was added. So I think it has been there on the lift hill for about 2 weeks.
