Sorry to cut in on the middle of your topic but Walt cut me off before I could reply to this "person" on another topic here. No one asked for pity in my other post. I simply stated what happened to me. If you can't accept that, that's your problem. Instead of being part of rational discussion, people like you always have to spout their big mouth off, you're one of the ones we can hear over the Raptor when we're at the park. If you've had nothing but good experiences at the park, good for you. Not everyone is so fortunate.
Anyway, back on topic. I'm not sure what they might name this thing. Dragster seems too obvious, I almost wonder if it will be a car type theme at all. All I can think of is that the red white alternating track reminds me of the turns in Formula 1 races. Intamin is in Europe where F1 is more popular than most anything except soccer and it's pretty close to that from what I understand, so I think it will have something to do with that style of racing, if only I had a list of "buzzwords" from that sport.

If you wonder why Walt may have cut you off, I'm sure you can ask him by e-mail too...but my guess is this was getting tiresome in his opinion.
Reopening closed topics is always very poor form.

When I used to help moderate the Lavasoft forums, one thing we definitely did not tolerate was users ignoring the board's terms... and if a user continued to violate those terms, even after instruction from a moderator, we quickly reached for the ban button... no questions asked.
If you feel the matter is still worth pursuing, email back and forth. If you're worried about spam that much, get a temporary email address at hotmail for use only in this matter, and then close it and be done.
Not that I'm a moderator here, but I for one do not take interest in your continued pursuance of the matter. My main point... we're not interested... use email. If you take offense, fine... my email address is in my profile. Feel free to send something there, but I will NOT be discussing it further in the board, period.
With that, let's bring the conversation back on topic, shall we?

I doubt if this will ever happen, but while daydreaming at my desk I thought of the coolest name....MONOLITH!
Interesting... if it does go in that sort of line, would be enclosed and completely pitch black inside? Could you imagine riding that in the dark?
Personally, I hope it stays out in the open... staring straight down at the ground and flying towards it would be quite a view!
And since no one liked my "Whoosh" name I suppose I have no place in providing any further guesses. ;) So I'll just sit back and wait.

I won't give you the opportunity to delete that statement. I refuse to respond to it on this forum--but with apologies to the mods, I will keep a little proof of your character. I do believe this says enough.
Back on topic tho--I think an enclosure would ruin it IMHO. You'd lose all those points of reference on the ground as they shrink to pinpoint size. I'm just sayin' it looks more like Stanley Kubrick's monolith than MF's first hill and overbanked turn resemble the letter 'M'.

You have no character to speak of. The other people will understand when they talk of a loved ones illness and you make folly of it. It might violate the terms posting this, but your post violated common human decency.

He has plenty of character...when you get into flaming someone on a personal level, you have grounds to be banned.
Anything else you want to "discuss" with him should be done by e-mail.

Hey, waitaminnit....that fat guy Roger Ebert was probably too busy chomping on polish sassage to double-check. See? I didn't even blow that one--well, on my own anyway. I had help.
