Does anyone think that the hyper coaster going to SFWOA next year will affect CP's 2003 plans? I know Cedar Point probably knew what they are going to do with the park next year a while ago, but prodjects can be moved ahead or delayed. I for one, think that Cedar Point would have to install a ride of equal magnitude to SFWOA's hyper and advertise the hell out of it to keep customers interested in CP rather than SFWOA. There are a lot of people who have a tough decision on whether to go to CP or SFWOA. One addition to SFWOA might be enough to get that kind of an attendance boost. I am not saying these parks are competing directly, but there are a good deal of customers that can be easily swayed from one park to another. What does this have to do with this topic? Well, it would make more sense to add a major attraction in 2003 rather than a flat ride in 2002. Another way you can look at it is that CP may want to suck in as much attendance as possible this year to be ready for an attendance drop next year. So in the end, I still can't come to a decent conclusion. :(
And remember, this is just my opinion, I hate when the next 10 posts blow my opinion out of the water. Two posts can get the job done. :)

After going to SFWoA today I can assure you that Cedar Point has nothing to worry about attracting attention away from that other park. I really don't care what or even if CP gets anything next year, I'm content with their collection. Although they could do something with the pile of wood in the back of the park ;).

So Delerium needs 3 footers in the pattern of a RIGHT triangle with equal sides? Well, this pic blows that out of the water. It is hard to get a good perspective, but all 3 footers (2 and then the tarp) are visible in this pic. Those footers don't form a right triangle. You can tell because the back wall slants in at and angle, so the back footer and the tarp can't form a right angle.

Yeah, it needs four footers. But what I was sayin' was that if three footers (at this point) did indeed exist, they would have to form a perfect right triangle with equal sides. The forth footer would complete the square, but that footer is invisible/nonexistent at this point.
Wasn't there a rumor before the season started about a basement being built across from Magnum's entrance? If so, then does this mean that there is something under the ground at "Area 51" or was this rumor, which partially came true, just referring to the footers that were built?

I still think Hershey should've called their's "Hershey Squirt."
Speaking of funny names, have you ever noticed the drink "Ruby Red Squirt" in the soda isle? That's some funny stuff.

The "basement" is probably the footer under construction. The hole was filled with rebar and concrete, similar to the "basements" that were built for Wicked Twister. The footer is sort of like an iceberg, only the very top is visible. The big part is not. It's because of this "basement" that I think something big and heavy is going in.
