The Elyria paper has an article in it today. Here is the online link.

A nice little article. Other than when the writer said, "which enabled Urmanic to make beelines for the separate line set aside for those riding by themselves." Unless there's been a recent change that I'm unaware of, there is no single rider line on Millennium Force.

Even rank amateurs could have managed 30 to 40 rides under such conditions, Urmanic said
That line made me laugh. He makes it sound like there is an "art" or skill to what he does. Anyone can put on a lime green t-shirt and run around the queue all day... especially when the line is short and you can cut through the special access entrance. I also like that the paper contacted CP to ask if it was a record or not. I highly doubt they keep track of who holds the yearly record for rides....
I'm not dissing what Bob does, and I certainly don't have a problem with counting rides (see my signature), but I don't think there's any need to put him on a pedestal.

The T’s bright red “Single Rider” phrase constantly alerted ride operators, to say nothing of waiting riders, to the fact he was alone, which enabled Urmanic to make beelines for the separate line set aside for those riding by themselves.
No such line exists on MF. The only ride with a dedicated SRL is Maverick.
