It's very hard to drink all day...
Unless you start first thing in the morning.
Let's get one thing straight. It is Premier pulling the strings. I think it is time we stop smearing the Six Flags name and start calling a spade a spade. Premier and Gary Story are the ones mucking up and dirty-ing what was once a proud and strong name. The original Six Flags parks are getting lumped together with the Premier fiasco and, although it is true that they are now one in the same, in many ways they are not.
As for the commercial...big deal! So what? If CP is as strong as we all think it is then the commercial won't mean squat. Maybe SFWoA will draw some more people with the advertising. Good. That is more people that will discover the problems with the park and choose not to return.
It's actually brilliant marketing! Whenever you are number two, you will always use number one in your marketing campaigns or whatever you promote. Its been done for ages, and gets the "general public" to think that you are "better" than Cedar Point, because you claim to be. The payoff is going to be whether or not people actually believe you or is they will "see" right through this ploy. As for Cedar Points position, they have no reason to defend this message. Their reputation stands for itself. Simply put, who has won the Golden Ticket Best Amusement Park Award Four years in a row?
-Mikey....When and what channel do you see the SFWOA commercial on?

If you're like me and you think Cedar Point should get the B/M Flyer in 2004, give me a "Hell Yeah!"
I used to work for SF, and there is no way in hell that statement is true...and anyone who believes it deserves to go to SF and get a reality check. The park was filthy, employees were rude to customers, and every single ride op in the park seemed to share the same brain.
Cedar Point should just sit back and wait for SFO to dig its own grave, because thats exactly what theyre doing.

Heh, actually it could bring people to Cedar Point to 'compare' the two parks :)

As a person who has been to SFWoA in Ohio, I think that statement is one of jelousey. I think the only good part of the park was the sea life area, which I still consider as Sea World.
-----------------
Cedar Point is the best. I will never stop loving it. You gotta, You wanna, You have to hold on...Cedar point hold on!! :) :) :)
And even theSeaLife part has gone to hell since SF bought it.I feel sorry for those poor S.O.B.'s who think that SF:WOA is better than CP.(As for that woman on the commercial can we say "paid off"?)
"Ya Wanna Ya Gotta Ya Hafta Hold On,Man I Love That Park."
People are people and everyone's a little different. If you love the fishies, have motion sickness and are scared of coasters, SFWOA is twenty times better for you than CP.
Whenever I was in IOA last week, CBaby was ticked off any time we weren't in Jurassic Park, CMidget kept tugging my sleeve and begging to revisit Seuss Landing while Playette just wanted to ditch the joint for USF.
Everybody's got different tastes. Big whoop.

(who's sitting in his cubicle, drinking water from a big Cat in the Hat cup and STILL can't spell Seuss! Yeesh!)

Well, there's no accounting for taste, eh? ;)
