Project 2007 Blog Update

K after reading several threads and gauging some rumors and seeing the pictures I want to post what my idea is....

Well, we actually have it all.

That line mostly and what jeff and walt have been pointing us too leads me to my theory while some might agree I am sure most will disagree.

I think that in 2007 we are going to see the addition of two new rides to cedar point.. It is going to be a dueling flyer and floorless... one side will be floorless the other side will be flyer... I am thinking that maybe the lift hills might go in diffrent directions hence the comments going in a whole new direction.. How cool would it be to fly over another track that is going at the same time. Fly over another person... The only bummer to this idea is the fact that it does not incoporate any of the WWL former water theme but I think it would be a price to pay in order to have two major coasters like that...

Only if Intamin now makes flyer and floorless coasters. There is 100% proof that it is intamin.

Prove It... Everything that I have read states they do not know what type of track it is... I have not even seen the picture of the "red" track that everyone talks about if you wish to PM me with the pic link you can if its legal....

We are all about 98% sure its Intamin...so the flyer/floorless idea is out the window...sorry thanks for playing! ;)

Like I said prove it... I have not seen the picture of this track so therefore I have no reason to belive that its intamin....

Trust us... the track is Intamin. More than likely box track at that. I was skeptical too until I saw the pic with the wind blowing against the track.

I personally like the idea of a really tall Intamin Ball Coaster... but given the layout of the footers, I think that is unlikely as well. *** Edited 5/7/2006 7:08:27 PM UTC by Josh M.***

Well darn it ... Looks like another coaster I will not be able to ride.. due to size limitations... much less downtime... Ugh I hate Cedar Point when they do crap like this.....

Wow thats a new picture that I had not seen yet...Okay so now we are 100% sure it or a portion of Project 2007 is Intamin.

Although I dont know about the box track, the previous pictures I had looked at pointed more in a tri track configuration...but thats not to say it isnt a combo of both.

And am I the only person who thinks the ball coaster is nothing exciting,or worth my time. I think its a pretty worthless Idea and I dont really have a knack for it, same with an aquatrax. They just dont tickle my fancy.

I think the ball coaster would be great for a smaller park instead of a spinning wild mouse. But yeah i agree.

Well I *suppose* it could be anything, but it is identical to the structure of Intamin's track

Trust me, its track. Like i said on C-buzz compare the one close up pic to the mf and ttd track pieces in the construction pics. It has exactly the same construction right down to the bolt hole tubes next to the rail.

I think Cedar Point is playing with us and the 'track' under the tarp is actually BS(not blue streak)...

Not litarally BS, you get the idea...

Since they just happened to have some spare red Intamin track just lying around with nothing to do...

BS...

if its red intamin, it may be a spare for the TTD.
