Processing

last year i processed in on april 28th, never AGAIN will i arrive that early...why?....not only was it cold, wet and rainy that day but it took me about 2hrs to process in, i kid you not....then on top of that. it was cold period those couple of days before a lot more folks show up, that's why it sucks to process in so early b/c no one is there and it's cold....so more power to those of you dumb enough to process in so early....that's my opinion and i'm sticking to it, sorry if i offended any one but you can't get mad at me for having my own opinion....

If you fill out and mail all your papers back to HR before you arrive, like they ask, then it really isnt so bad when you arrive to process in. Follow HR's directions, they know from experience.)))

I have 2 questions ...

first one: what kind of phones are in the room and are we allowed to bring our own phone like a cordless to have in the room ??

second one: I process in on April 27th (Sunday) and my parents are bringing me out there ... is there alot of things to do before I get my room ?? Just wondering because I don't want my parents being bored with nothing to do while waiting for me to get my room and get all my stuff unpacked ... thanks for all your help everyone :)

The phone vary slightly, but most are the old school rotary dial, which make it impossible to use the calling cards they sell. You are "technically" not allowed to connect your own telephones/answering machines/computers to the phone line.

thanks for your help :) ... guess all I can do is bring a cordless and use it til I get caught or one of my other roommates has a better phone ...

I started in on April 28th last year and it took a long time to get processed in. I didn't know anyone except for my best friend. At least I made it in before it started Raining!!! I felt so sorry for the people who got caught in it.
