it is simple you get used to it.
Have you never gone to the doctor and had a physical? CP has been my only drug test, but I've been required to go in a cup many times.

My piss is clean as can be. I will sell it to you for 20 dollars a cup.

Luckily, you do get to go in your own room and pee in the cup. I definitely could not do it in front of people.

It is amazing what we are not comfortable doing when we are sober that we have no problem doing when we are drunk.

You will get a parking pass, if you have a car, that will allow you to park near the dorms/apartments. "Near" is a relative term though.

If you are living at Commons, I know Housing has these nice little luggage carts you can use to truck your things back and forth from your car to your room with when you check in.

Hey everyone. I'm processing in on the June 20th and I was wondering about the training the newbies have. Does anybody remember how that went down? And on the 21st should I be able to start on my assigned ride? It does sound like alot of stuff and I just don't want to get completely blind sided by it. I'm figuring to be there right at 8:30 when they say it's open. Thanks!

you will do all the stuff like go to hr, and over to park op and most likely meet fike-if he is still there. who knows? then they will do your folder work and go over all the stuff you signed on your contract. then you get to pee, then back to park op and you get your uniform. sometimes they make people start the next day. but yo could start that day. and your tl is really cool. i have known him awhile-dave is excellent. i think that crewmight be as fun as tuffs crew or even nates. though i never worked with nate. and then you have all the moving in stuff to do. by that time you might as well live in cedars-it's cheaper and easier at that point then commons.cause you will really have slim picins on where to live. any room that is vailable is only because soeone moved out because they didn't like thier roommates.
Ohh DJ.. lets not forget the 4 hours of Eilene's class...

i think if you pass the internet class and new you can take less time. though you get paid to asically sit there. i had to some skit, but i like thart tuff. park o just wait till this years skit. if you thought last years was funny, this year is like gonna be 10 times better. "oh lok thres a rainbow between raptor and gemini" i kill me!

i moved in at about that time last year, and there where loads of rooms in Commons dorms left. I'd go for that, cause of the airconditioning! and the lockers

The 4 hours not only includes classroom orientation time, but also a walking tour of the park. (This isn't just a "There's the Raptor over there, Millennium Force is up there," sort of tour, but also one where they point out the locations necessary for you as an employee, so it should be interesting even if you've visited Cedar Point several times before and know what things are).

Oh my how things have changed, my orientation constisted of being shown where the beer was (rec center), given a map to find laundry, FT Inn, and the clocking in station, in other words I had none! Also what a blue tag meant, a black tag and a red tag! Fun times!
Hey Everyone,

The Name is Tim and I worked at Fridays in 02 and will be back again this summer. I just was reading all this and found unusual about the talk about the drug testing when you process in. I never had to do that and neither have any of my friends. I know people who got randomly tested but that was about it. Nothing about when you first process in. Weird.

if i remember right the policy of drug testing is only mandatory for park operations and maybe services (im not sure of that) and all departments do it on a random basis (lottery style) throughout the season to make sure your following the drug policy but as i said only park op (when i worked in merch in 99 it wasnt required but i did get a random once) is required to perform a manditory urinalisys exam.
