Pinks hotdogs!

Jeremy - It's helpful for everyone if you take a few seconds to proofread your post and ensure it's written in a way that is at least somewhat intelligible. I've noticed a trend with your posts where they're filled with chat speak and devoid of any sentence structure, which makes them quite impossible to understand.

Then again going on the Millenium after the buffet wasn't such a good idea....

Yeah, that buffet needs a little time to walk down. Im good for one, maybe 2 trips up to the buffet, depending on the spread, then its time to hit the ice cream hard! I make 5 or so trips up to the ice cream bar, damn thats some good ice cream!

Does the chili at Pinks have beans?

Brandon

I have to agree with Pete. The spicy polish dog is very spicy, boardering on just plain hot. They were spicier than I expected. Lots of places say "spicy" and disappoint. The regular dogs are pretty bland. The toppings have to provide the flavor.

No. It does not.

Everyone here is more than familiar with CP-related shorthand; that's actually not what I was referencing.

I was speaking toward your rather extensive misuse of punctuation and such. No one is asking for Crichton-level writing, but a little consideration for those of us trying to read what you're writing would be appreciated.

And while we're at it...

It's not that people around here didn't understand the common CP shorthand that's used. It's that your posts come off reading like they were written by a 13 year old who is off his IV drip of Ritalin. Slow down and form coherent thoughts, and you'll get a lot further around here.

What JeremyD should have said:
^ The above signature has 4 lines; perhaps you should make mention of this to everyone. And now, I've changed my signature to only two lines. :)

Back on topic, I ate at Pinks today for the first time, and I agree that the dog is pretty much tasteless. I had the guacamole dog, and all I could taste was bun and guac.

Pinks is definitely more about the toppings than the hot dog its self. That said, they do have some tasty toppings!

WOW! Really? Perhaps you should just quote the real quote, but thanks anyway!

To Waffles,

Is the a hotdog that has a taste? I am not discounting what you said, but I just want to know. A hot dog is all about the toppings. When I grill hotdogs you can tast the grill and the smoke. Yes, Pinks does not grill them I would love to see them grilled, but the again thats not the Pinks way. Maybe, the reason I like Pinks so much is becasue I've heard of them way before CP (Cedar Point) (before I get yelled out for using chat speak) When I went on vacation to CA (CA is a state, and if you care to look it up www.usps.com) One of my friends living out there told me about Pinks and I should try it. Well, I didn't and not I wish I had.

I believe there are dogs with taste, ones where you could put nothing on top and still taste the meat. But you're right, though. Pinks is about the toppings, and I guess they want to showcase that. There was a hotdog shop near one of my old apartments, and they piled up a lot of flavor onto a pretty tasty dog. It never took away from the experience of the toppings. In fact, it usually added a nice meaty hint to it.

I still think that was the best $13 spent on a hot dog meal, though. Pinks fries are really good, and I regret not upgrading to chili cheese.

There are a lot of hot dogs that are not as bland. The large all beef hot dogs CP sells are pretty tasty, which is probably what I will get next time I want a hot dog at CP. I do really like the Pink's Spicy Polish Dog, chili and the Pink's hamburgers.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

By far, the best deal is the Double Feature. Had it today, and it's pretty much the same thing as the Chili Cheese dog except you get two of them. Oddly enough it's only $0.50 more at CP than the Cali location. Most other dogs are $3.00 more.

Ok, I guess we need a Nathan's or a Hebrew National Hot Dog Stand at CP. Does anyone remember the Pizza Bagels they use to sell there it was near Jungle Larry's Jungle exhibit.

Do you think the fries taste as good as Berardi's did when they were there?

I need a good Nathan's Dog before waiting in line for the Maverick!

Glad its summer~!! CP rocks

Pink's is legendary, and this is the only location east of Nevada. $8 is a fair price, and cheaper than a flight to California.

Please remain in your seat until the ride comes to a complete and final stop.
